A SENIOR detective was arrested twice in two days for allegedly attacking his wife.

Detective Inspector Gordon Cowe, 50, allegedly assaulted his wife, Margaret, during a row over a laptop computer.

Police were called to their home in the South Gyle area of Edinburgh on Friday, October 4.

Cowe was taken to the city's Gayfield Police Station - where he is based - for questioning.

He was charged with assault and breach of the peace and …
