Not only did he know, he obviously supports Torture of Witnesses in Custody and believes that this is a right and proper way to conduct an Investigation

We can't figure out why he is doing anything just now, Tony. Look at the absolute carp he has been posting about the Cipriano case - he is actually ignoring Portuguese court rulings and posting out and out lies.

What's that all about? I have no idea - he cannot change reality.

I am unsure with the British courts but, it would be up to a Judge in our courts to say if the videos are relevant to the issues before him.

Well said, Tony! Bennett has completely lost the plot, I swear it. At one point, he even tried to claim Leonor Cipriano was attacked by other prisoners because they were so shocked by her 'terrible crime'.

He forgot one or two small details. Like, the lurid details of the supposed 'terrible crime' were not spread all over the place until AFTER she had been 'interrogated' in the middle of the night by thugs, sorry, I mean fine upstanding PJ officers like Cristovao, imported from Lisbon by Gonc.

He also forgot that bad elements in the PJ are notorious in Portugal for stitching people up and getting them jailed, so his 'outraged prisoners' canard doesn't really work.

The Discipline Unit of the Judicial Police is seeking the suspension of Paul Christopher Pereira, Gonçalo Amaral and three inspectors of the PJ alleged involvement in the case of attacks on Leonor Cipriano, condemned for killing and hiding the corpse of her daughter, Joan, in 2004.

A measure for Paul Christopher Pereira, former PJ does not make sense. "I was not notified of it and exonerei me of PJ in 2006, so there is no connection and can not be suspended at all. Moreover, if someone is proven to give as assaults and torture after the courts do not prove anything, so incurs a criminal defamation, "said the CM.
The five were accused by prosecutors of being involved in the beating of Leonor Cipriano during an interrogation in the PJ of Portimão. The CM could not get to speak with Gonçalo Amaral.
