Portuguese GNR Dogs Followed Madeleine's Scent
The usual Wonderwoof fans are making asinine remarks like:
Gerry tried to 'own' the dogs by saying they had asked for them. They didn't, as early as the night of the 3rd he mentioned that he wanted the GNR to bring dogs (I'll try and find it) but Eddie and Keela were invited by the PJ.
The forker - like so many of them - simply has no idea what it is talking about.
The GNR (part of the military, NOT the police) used their trained dogs only hours after Madeleine vanished:

• That after the dogs were given this scent from the towel and near apartment 5A of block 5, the first sniffer dog headed to the door of that apartment. Immediately afterward, he turned to block 5, using a circumvented route to block 5, and came to the road between this block and the leisure area of the resort (pools, restaurant, etc), and turned to the left, or around the referred to apartment and headed to the main road. Having reached there, he crossed the road and next to a wall of block 6, crossed the road again, turned right and headed to the parking zone of the resort. More specifically, the dog went next to the light post and began smelling that location. After searching that zone, he again crossed the road and headed toward the entrance to the pool and restaurant area, and smelled the door which was closed at that hour. He turned again to the parking zone and stopped or lost the scent at this point.
• When he effected the same operation with the second dog, in general, this dog took the same route and headed to the light post and showed interest there and ended by losing the scent at this point. It should be stated that the one difference is that this second dog did not head toward the entrance to the restaurant and pool zone. But he does state that the dogs followed a ‘scent trail’, a signal for the animal who was working. He is certain that they were not conditioned in any direction.
• None of the dogs used in this search action, after having smelled the towel, went into block 5 but headed to the zone which gives access to the road between the apartment and the leisure area. He states it should be noted that the second dog may have been conditioned by the original path taken by the first sniffer dog as he may have smelled the first dog’s path taken.
• Taking into account the aforementioned result, he states that it can be confirmed with a certain degree of certainty that the missing minor passed that location, on the day of the events or before that date. This situation can be explained by the configuration/layout of the area. That space is reduced and flanked by walls. This helps to conserve scents that may otherwise be affected by winds, etc. He would like to clarify that these sniffer dogs are more used to effecting this type of work in rural settings where there is not such a great concentration of odours.
------------
Are they capable of grasping that? That PROPER dogs picked up the scent of a LIVE child, only hours after she was abducted?
Pity Gonc hadn't paid more attention to the Portuguese dogs, instead of sitting in bars dissing them by writing Madeleine McCann off as dead.
Here's another one who hasn't bothered to read the PJ files:
I think the dogs Gerry asked for were the live scent dogs, not the EVRD. The dogs who were given a towel to track Madeleine. I bet he knows their effectiveness is short lived, live scent does not stay in the air for a long period of time. He asked for them, knowing they would find nothing.
'Find nothing'? Really? So, those GNR officers perjured themselves, did they?
Their ignorance is astounding. As is their spaniel-worship.
The rest of the world KNOWS - not thinks, KNOWS - Madeleine McCann was abducted by scumbag/s, but these ignoramuses carry on their persecution of her parents because of a yapping spaniel and a convicted criminal.
Go figure.

Re: Portuguese GNR Dogs Followed Madeleine's Scent
But The Portuguese Sniffer Dogs did find something. And if live scent is so short lived then Madeleine almost certainly passed that way at the time.
So what is this Cretin on about. Either they believe The Dogs or they don't. Or do they just believe manic Spaniels some four months later. Absolutely No Logic to their argument.

I don't think they can grasp how totally meaningless all that running around and yapping, three months after the event, was, Sabot.
Or - they cannot face it, as they claim to base their hate vendetta on Dogs don't lie.
Strangely, they don't seem to want to apply that to the GNR dogs who found the trail of a LIVING child only hours after the event. You know, a living Madeleine McCann, the child they all pretend to care so much about.

BTW, their efforts to ally themselves with the victims of Hillsborough are especially shameful, as THEY are the people who very vocally support corrupt police officers who lie and smear victims.

Interesting to see the authors of this report are from the NPIA. This is the organisation who supported a retired dog handler whilst he searched in Portugal and Jersey, against the wishes of the ACPO police dog working group who could see the Police being bought into disrepute. Some of his outrageous comments around finding “the smell of death” are believed by police officers around the country. Victim recovery handlers are often asked, “has your dog found the smell of death”
===============
The main discussion points are around Portugal and Jersey and the employment of a private company earning reputedly 1k a day plus expenses…l think l would blow my own trumpet if l could rake in that sort of money.
These two particular dogs were owned and worked by ex Police Officer Martin Grime, were not licensed in any way, and on the many occasions he was offered to attend a Regional School anywhere in the country to be assessed he declined.
I know of many more stories regarding this individual and his ‘trail of death’ dogs and he is not a favourite of mine, he has set us back in the forensic expert world due to the two main stories.
=========
I think it is time the McCann-haters got to grips with reality about dogs.
They themselves are the people who 'diss the dogs' with their nonsensical babblings about Eddiewoof.
Dogs trained to find explosives and drugs are an invaluable tool.
Dogs trained to find body parts, as at Ground Zero, have done more than most humans could.
The dogs used by the Armed Forces are amazing. SAR dogs are life-savers.
BUT - Eddiewoof was just a plain, ordinary police dog, until his owner bestowed on him the title of the world's one and only EVRD dog, the only one guaranteed to be able to find Death Miasma as invented by his owner. And b*all's-up after b*ll's up has followed since then, since the invention of that psuedo-science.
Now, the notion of a yappy spaniel being some kind of super-canine may appeal to the more reality-challenged, but the grown-ups are not impressed.
The Portuguese GNR dogs, on the other hand, were proper working dogs, properly trained, with the proper qualifications.
If the McCann-haters care about Madeleine McCann as they claim, why are they not outraged that Gonc made no effort to follow up on the findings of the GNR dogs?
If they cared as much as they pretend, they would be DEMANDING that every effort is made to find Madeleine McCann, an abducted child.
After all, dogs don't lie, do they?
