Madeleine McCann could have been taken ANYWHERE after she was abducted from 5A; indeed, an abduction to order by some mega-rich Russians who wanted a healthy 'daughter' of good stock is one of the better possibilities.

That lot would rather screech and spit hate, though. Which is one of the many reasons why no-one cares what they think.

The hunt for missing British girl Madeleine McCann has switched to the former Soviet Union after a confession from a serial paedophile that she could be in Russia or the Ukraine.
Serial paedophile Raymond Hewlett - who died three years ago from cancer - is believed to have told his son that he knew who had abducted Maddy from a Portugal holiday apartment in 2007.
A charity which specialises in finding trafficked children says it has been contacted by representatives of Madeleine's family to launch an appeal for information.
Posters in Russian with pictures of the youngster showing how she might look now are being distributed from the charity's offices in Kiev and Moscow.
Victoria Yanyko - from the Ukrainian Missing Persons Association - told local media: 'A representative of the family contacted us and we made a special, Russian language, leaflet to spread with the intention of finding this girl who went missing six years ago at the age of four.'
'We've distributed it in the Ukraine and in Russia, thanks to our Russian colleagues.
'A representative of the family contacted us after they got information from a dying man who said he took part in abducting Maddy and that she might be in this area,' she added.

This is odd. I am trying to track down a RELIABLE source for the 'bank card' story - and can't. I can only find vague, throwaway lines like:

That's all I can find - and we all know what 'police sources' means - Gonc told his flying monkeys to spin that line.

I thought it was another Paedophile in the area whose Bank Card was used in Lisbon. Pretty sure about this, actually.

Hewlett said that he was at a Market on The Algarve but couldn't find anyone to corroborate his story.

He admits that someone tried to buy his daughter so he must have known who it was. Although I doubt that a Paedophile would have approached him, so it was quite probably someone who promised a better life for the child.

I simply do not believe that Hewlett knew nothing about it. And he probably kept his mouth shut unto death because these people do not drop each other in it.

ETA - he wouldn't have a bank card. He was wanted by the UK police at the time. The very last thing he would be doing is leaving a financial trail around Europe.
