I hope The Big O's vengeful spirit makes her life hell. He would never agree to her treatment of the McCann's as he suffered great tragedy in his short life - 52 years old when he died - his wife killed in a motorbike accident, his two elder sons when the family home burnt down. People will always remember that wonderful voice and songs, long after hohum is just a unremembered dirty smudge on a mud road. LL

LL, I do so agree with you in that he did suffer such personal tragedies during his rather short life. His family will be horrified, I have no doubt. How she could even think it is okay to use these songs WITHOUT permission is beyond me.

Never mind, sooner or later, the owners of copyrights do not take kindly to having their works pilfered - especially by no marks for such outrageous propaganda.

Kate McCann was right, the vile excuses for human beings who you are seeking to excuse are nothing but cowards hiding behind their keyboards. There were other threats on that thread to disrupt the London Marathon in other ways too.

I wonder if she will finnish the run, could blame her stated problem, or now here's a thought, she could say she was frightened by the death threat, now that would attract a great deal of publicity which she craves. Shame on the woman.

LL, it is possible that she believes that Fair Use means she can use artists' work without permission.

The way that Bennett was banging on about it, and you know she listens to him. Rolling Eyes

All I know is, artists are very protective of their work. The companies who own the recordings are even more fiercely protective.

The only way she can get around this is to compose music of her own or look from a list of music that is in public domain. I can see her coming a cropper...... Pcorneater
