Cops in jail
My friends, this was taken from Correio da Manhã newspaper:

Lisbon: ambushed businessman and stole 10 pounds of gold
Cops in jail
Three PSP officers sentenced to six years in prison for robbery and kidnapping.
Kidnapped by four men and beaten to slap, businessman Anthony Baron was without the 10 pounds of gold, which was trading in park full of McDonald's in Massamá, Sintra. Among the four hijackers were agents of PSP Bruno Baptista, Jorge Pelica and Fernando Monserrate - caught by the Counter-Terrorism Unit of the Judicial Police yesterday and did not get rid of convictions to six years in jail.
We were at March 10, 2009, when the goldsmiths combined to meet the fake buyers. The three policemen came suddenly with badges and guns blazing.
they had already been convicted of these penalties last year, but the Court of Appeal eventually have to repeat part of the trial. "The evidence was again analyzed and the penalty will be the same. Defendants sent requests not to attend the reading of the judgment, but without good reason," the judge responded yesterday to the fact that none of the policemen have been present at sentencing.
Another assailant was sentenced to three and a half years in jail. Among all will still have to pay 200,000 euros to the injured businessman who ran out of gold.
Recall that in March 2009 the businessman who thought he was closing a business gold just handcuffed in the back seat of a car and assaulted with "multiple blows" to be abandoned, after more than 25 minutes in zone of Monsanto, at forest Park, in Lisbon, and has no gold. Agents, until the moment they were caught by the PJ, were already suspected of other crimes of the same genre - one involving the theft of diamonds. Have disciplinary procedures in the police and are, for now, in freedom.
