Bennett backstabs Gonzo

Gonc has told outright, obvious, demonstrable lies, all the way through that interview, about witness statements, etc., which are a matter of record in the police files and elsewhere.

Anyone who still thinks he has a shred of honour needs their heads examined. He's just shown, for all to see, that he is NOT one of the good guys and never was.

If he can lie as readily as that to a Portuguese tabloid, he wouldn't think twice about committing perjury to cover up torture.

Those people who try to cover up his lies by whatever means, are just as guilty as Gonc is.

How many of us could have thought that 6 years later, Scotland Yard would be investigating the crime? Coming to the conclusions they have so far? Showing Gonc to be truly incompetent? On the heels of a libel suit which he is struggling with?

A melt down seems to make sense now.

The first use of Identikit in Britain - The Cecil Court antique shop murder

No 23 Cecil Court, off London's Charing Cross Road WC2, used to be an antique shop owned by Louis Meyer. He had an assistant called Elsie Batten who was 59 years old. But on Friday 3rd March 1961 Elsie Batten was found stabbed to death in the shop.

Raymond Dagg was a detective sergeant at Bow Street at the time, and when he interviewed Louis Meyer and a neighbouring shop assistant they told him that they had seen a rather suspicious youth of Indian appearance at the shop a few days earlier.

But how would the witnesses describe the suspect? Raymond Dagg turned to America for help and used Identikit, which was then a new idea from the USA, originating from an invention by Hugh C Macdonald of the Los Angeles Police Department who had developed sets of facial features on transparencies to save time sketching descriptions of criminals in 1940 wartime Europe.

Raymond Dagg compiled a facial picture of the suspect from Louis Meyer, and then, completely independently, from the other witness. The two pictures bore a striking resemblance to each other. The pictures were circulated and published in the Press.

Yep, could be.  Just wondering about the smell of cleaning fluid not being noticed initially.  Also they were moved to another flat weren`t they?  Although the PJ weren`t too quick off the mark in making the flat a crime scene, I think they did later, so would the McCanns have been able to gain access to clean it?

It would be good to know exactly when the bleach was bought.

There was no 'deep clean', which doubtless explains why no-one noticed any smell of 'cleaning fluid'.

There was no bleaching, cleaning of curtains, fridge-dumping or anything else - these are all forum myths.

Anyone still regurgitating this garbage at this point in the proceedings should be banned from the internet on the grounds of stupidity.
