Very, very bad news for Team Gonc is that. Looks like chickens are coming home to roost. Especially with Sargento being dropped as the defence's star witness.

A bit of a guess really, but what if Sargento has been removed from the civil hearing because he is now involved with the criminal investigation re-opened by PJ in conjunction with SY. I would have thought it might amount to a conflict of interests.

The closing arguments in the case that the parents of Maddie McCann put the Gonçalo Amaral will only be given in the month of January next year.

Held today in 1st Civil Court of Lisbon over a hearing of the defamation lawsuit that  Kate and Gerry McCann put the former inspector of the Judicial Police Gonçalo Amaral .  video reconstitution of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann - based on the first six months of research - and an interview with Julia Pinheiro by Gonçalo Amaral, a morning program on SIC, were screened by the court. At the next hearing, scheduled for January 7, 2014, and according to the judge, to serve any statements of the parties - and McCann Amaral - the event will be admitted, and closing arguments. On the impossibility of agenda between the defense and the prosecution has not been possible to mark the allegations and any provision of the parties to an earlier date.

I do hope the court didn't have to sit through hours of her arm-waving, face-pulling and gurning.

Isn't that the one who made up the story about deranged Brits waving placards in support of Gonzo? Which turned out to have not a word of truth in it - a total invention?

Look at the body language in those photos.

Gonc seems so introverted. Just look at his clothes.   The same suit and same shoes but Dear Julia and Sargento seem to be color coordinated. Note the tie and her top.

Does that mean when Gonc loses the two of them will be pointing the finger at him?
