Yes, she sure was - by an incompetent, oafish conspiraloon, that was too busy trying to frame her poor parents to actually FIND her.

Isn't it amazing, the way things that would have let him Crack the Case keep on vanishing around Gonzo? Why, it's almost as if they didn't exist in the first place, so he invents crap to cover up his own incompetence.
