Intimidating Witnesses



Intimidating witnesses is seen as a crime here as I am sure it is in any civilized country and the penalties can be quite severe; ranging from fines to a prison sentence depending on how bad the intimidation affects both witness and the case in question.
In the case of the missing British child Madeleine McCann I have watched one man do it and do it openly.
Only last week he put evidence of his intimidating a witness on the worldwide Internet.
His victim's only crime, he dared to take his children on holiday to the same complex and was there in the same time period that little Madeleine went missing in. To compound matters, the gentleman dared to take holiday pictures of his children enjoying themselves. Alas, the proud father just happened to capture little Madeleine in the background, prior to her disappearance. As any upstanding citizen would, when the child went missing, the gentleman turned the picture over to law enforcement.

Now, because this man did what would have been seen by many as the humane thing to do, he now suffers. Four years later, the attention of vigilante A.J. S. Bennett has fallen upon him. The vigilante of the 'We hate Madeleine foundation', contacted the witness and requested the gent answer the questions sent to him by the Stalker General. When the man declined to do so; Herr General and his cult, went on the attack. They proceeded to post the gentleman's reply to the cult leader, online.
What a stupid fellow the victim is. How very dare he deny the vitriolic cult the right to taunt the grieving. Did he not appreciate just how important the taunting stalkers believe themselves to be?
I guess not; if he had known, he would never have carried out the polite action of replying to the leader of the "Never speak the truth" cult.
The man is by association a timeline witness. He captured Madeleine McCann on film; proving beyond doubt she was alive and well on the day of May 3 2007.

Any attempt to intimadate or stalk this witness, is against the law. Contacting this witness whilst this case is being reviewed by law enforcement, is interfering in an ongoing case and could be seen as an obstruction of Justice.
If, and it is a huge if, the McCanns were ever to be found guilty of a crime, they would never stand trial because of Bennett's, lies stalking, and intimidation of witnesses.

So much for Justice for Madeleine Bennett! You and your cult are doing everything in your power to prevent just that.

This is actually becoming really serious, isn't it. And I don't understand why Bennett is being allowed to get away with this. If he had approached a witness in a British Case and started asking questions he would have been arrested by now.
But then if it had been a British Case no one would have known who this man is.
The way in which The Portuguese have handled this is appalling.

You called him correctly when you referred to him as a vigilante.

He appears to be having some kind of meltdown? That's the only thing I can think of when you consider these foolish types of actions. Reeks of desperation......

If it was a Dutch case it would not be allowed here, but the information would not be available to the public either.
Why are we surprised a witness in Portugal will not come forward...??

The man is an idiot and should be questioned by your police to find out what his motives are. It sure isn't Justice for Madeleine he seeks, so just what the hell is he doing it for?

Perhaps it is just plain attention seeking and a demonstration of his rapier legal mind.
To gain attention one's views have to be controversial, against the norm. So pick a case or situation and vociferously expound the views of the minority. There are always morons who will follow, in the hope of gaining attention themselves.
