Bret can't possibly have known what he was talking about after just a few short weeks.
So he must have been attention seeking. Hence The Hat and The Cape. Unless he was trying to detract from that awful nose.
It will all be cached of course, which won't do his book sales much good.

He's simply a no class wannabe. His foul mouthed cyber rants are the equivalent of street brawls. People in polite society would want nothing to do with him in reality.

A German friend of mine, who happens to be gay, and also a damn good reader of faces and behaviour, says he is of the opinion that bret may have seen a possible book out of all this - maybe one on Madeleine wherein he could fictionalise her parents in the same way he has with all his subjects. He would have seen the suggestions of paedophilia, of sex, of perversion etc and he thrives on all those. And if Kate and Gerry were banged up in Portugal he could write what he wanted; they would be probably serving a very long sentence, possibly life, and his 'book' on the McCanns would have sold thousands, even millions before they could stop it. As my friend says, this is just a theory but I can see where he may have some correct facts, especially considering bret is such a nasty creature. And he wouldn't be the first person to try and cash in on Madeleine and her family, now would he; look at brown and her bookie-wookie, let alone Amoral and the others who have written on the subject. With all the conspiracy theories flying about a book filled with his kind of filth would fit in nicely. LL

The other two were 99p each! I have the Errol Flynn, Dietrich and Talullah Bankhead books. His books never made the top 10, in fact I understand they didn't make the top 500 either. LL
