Oh My God. He did that for his own sake. What can I say? Any fool who thought that he didn't have the balls or the loyalty of the electorate seriously needs to look at what is going on.

This is all so amazing. My entire life before my eyes. Scotland and England.

Having worked for British Rail for three years, from 15 years old until 18 years old, and until I bogged off to join The Wrens, British Rail had a Social Club at Uxbridge. And that was where I was first kissed by someone who was probably a latent paedophile. However, I can only remember him with some affection, despite him being at least twenty years older than me. South of the border, it seems Esther McVey, who was a particularly nasty Tory, has been kicked out. And so has George Galloway, who was just particularly nasty.

Sky now has the SNP on 52, with one each for the Tories, LibDem and Labour, and are currently just over 50% of the actual votes cast.

I don't think SLab in particular has taken in what has happened, and won't for some time. They're talking as if they've only lost a couple of seats on the local council.

Milliband has turned up for his own declaration, with a face like thunder. Can't see him lasting long as leader after this.

Good. For UKIP even one seat will help. I don't know who they are and I don't really care. Just anything to wipe the smug smile off the face of The Establishment.

And if Cameron splurges on about all being in this together, then I am quite likely to throw up.

According to Sky, the SNP now have 55 seats out of a possible 59 - the others all have one each, and I have lost track of where the last seat is.

Assorted pundits have been making sneering remarks about our new MPs' inexperience - as if that's a bad thing. Just think, that's 55 MPs that are NOT:

In the pay of multi-nationals

In the pockets of trade unions

On the Soros payroll

Covering up for disgusting scandals dating back decades.

On top of that, the new MPs all have REAL jobs; they've come from all walks of life - the girl that put out the Labour trougher Douglas Alexander is a 20-year-old student that works part-time in a chippie.

And know what? I'd trust her to do the right thing by people any time - all the troughers could ever be trusted to do was feather their own nests.

I do so agree, Bonny. The actual politics of it don't really matter. Just rid Westminster of the same old same old arrogance.

You see, I have never really understood The Party Line. Just get in there and defend what you believe in for the people who elected you.

Not sure that this is going to be a clean sweep. Probably not. Too much to ask for at the moment. But then it doesn't matter to me any more.
