That's the problem, Trump is upsetting the status quo.

I should think the advertisers that booked space on Fox during the debate are beyond angry, Lily - Fox really are not coming out of this at all well.

Fox doesn't seem to know there is this thing called 'the internet' where people can go for info these days. I don't see many people bothering to watch the show if it's only the hand-picked establishment candidates having a pretend debate.

I suspect all the candidates will talk about is one D. Trump, anyway.....

Of course. That will be the idea which shows how desperate the elite really are.

Trump meanwhile is refusing calls from Ailes and will only speak to the man at the very top - News Corporation founder Murdoch.
Scarborough said on Morning Joe Wednesday; 'Per our sources, Roger Ailes was calling Ivanka, he was trying to get in touch with Trump, he was calling Melania, people that he's got a good relationship with, they love Roger. They have a great respect for him.
'But at this point, Trump's only gonna talk to Rupert, and they're going to figure it out.'

Kelly meanwhile welcomed a surprisingly liberal guest on her program Tuesday night, Michael Moore.
The documentary filmmaker was there to promote his new film Where to Invade Next?, but also took time to applaud Kelly and ask how she was dealing with the very public feud between her and Trump while mocking the presidential hopeful over his refusal to attend the debate.
Meanwhile, Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski continued with their unified attack on Kelly Wednesday morning during an appearance on Good Morning America saying that the anchor is 'completely obsessed' with the presidential hopeful.

Moore also offered Kelly the ultimate compliment about her feud with Trump on her program Tuesday when he said; 'In all seriousness, let me say this, you’ve done something that Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Rubio, Cruz - none of them have been able to do. Which is to, essentially, frighten him.'

Then, in a move that no doubt left many viewers shocked, Moore appeared to ask Kelly out on a date, saying; 'I was thinking I was maybe going to have to, like, take you out to dinner afterwards. We could talk. You could emote … get it out. I’m here for you.'

I can't see any of this going down awfully well with Fox's core audience - or its money people.

Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren polled her viewers on whether or not they will watch Thursday’s debate with Trump not participating.

More than 83 percent have said they will not be watching the debate.

No wonder Fox is panicking.

FOX News and Google invited a radical Muslim activist, a Bernie Sanders supporter, a Black Lives Matter supporter and a Mexican illegal immigrant to the debate to confront Donald Trump.

It’s crazy, isn’t it, that Democrat operatives and activists were, in essence, invited to protest Trump mid-debate.

LOVE it, Bonny. It even sounds like it could be the Donald who wrote it.

This morning on the talking head shows, Fox is sounding more desperate by the minute to not have Donald as the center piece.

I watched a bit of the panicking talking heads, Lily, oh dearie me.

I know...... and if that's not bad enough the ad revenue per minute has gone down from approx $750,000 to approx $150,000. OUCH!

Thing is, Lily, Fox has been caught red-handed trying to lay an ambush for Trump that would be worthy of the BBC trying to set up a UKIP-per. Now, we expect stunts like that from the BBC - but Fox has this appearance of catering to 'conservative' America.

CNN has, in the past, been caught pushing pure State Department propaganda unquestioningly, but Fox liked to make out it was better than that. On every level, from lost revenue to lost credibility, Fox has, IMO, blown its own feet off.

Did they seriously think that Trump wasn't going to get wind of all this? Because one thing he isn't, is stupid and gullible.

This stunt has certainly backfired on them big time. Such arrogance on their part thinking they might control him.

It's a demanding read, and I confess, I know nothing about some of the matters involved, but it seems safe to say that Cruz is a complete fraud.
