Minister Tom Watson spent so much on a shopping spree at Marks & Spencer funded by the taxpayer that the store gave him a free pizza wheel.
A leaked receipt submitted to the parliamentary fees office shows that he was given the free gift during his £150 shopping trip.
Other leaked documents reveal that Mr Watson, a close ally of Gordon Brown, spent the maximum of £4,800 in a single year on food.

Corbyn's ilk CAN'T grow up, Lily. They are permanently stuck in lefty student union politics of the 70's - he probably thinks that turning up at the service like an unmade bed is rebellious, or sticking it to the man, or something.

In reality, it's just pig-ignorant disrespect.

If you can face it, try reading one of his shorter speeches - not that there are many of those. They're heavy on sloganeering, and very, very short on facts and figures.

Corbyn is, IMO, one of the emptiest of empty vessels, and is going to poison the air around anyone foolish enough to associate with him, or even co-operate with him.


I don't greatly like Tories, but one thing I would never accuse them of being is STUPID. They've been plotting and scheming for centuries, and know that Corbyn is the best thing to happen to them for a very long time.

That sounds about right, Bonny.  If that isn't enough, HE obviously has no self respect. 

Look at the men whose photos you have posted.  They look immaculate as reflects their pride in their accomplishments.

Mr Corbyn received a rapturous welcome on arrival at the conference centre, and a standing ovation when he reached the stage.

Addressing delegates as “sisters and brothers”, he said trade unionism was “in my body”.

He stressed the importance of helping unions in other countries, saying workers should stand in solidarity with others across the world.

Referring to a major fire in the Chinese port of Tianjin last month which claimed more than 100 lives, Mr Corbyn said: “Those people that died in that dreadful fire in China, where there was a free market philosophy around the operation of the port, firefighters died trying to protect other workers who should have been protected by decent health and safety conditions.”

Only self-righteous lefties can be quite as addled and patronising as that.

Well, that was a let down.

Someone seems to have given Corbyn a shake and got him into a non-threatening fawn suit and tie. I can't actually remember what he said.

In fact, the only bit I can remember is some backbencher asking Cameron to help get a Belgian tiger into the country.

He won't last six months at this rate?

I don't see him lasting, Lily, I find him dull and his politics old-fashioned. He doesn't seem to able to think on his feet.

I cannot think of a single thing he's acheived in his more than thirty years in parliament.

I too find him as boring as hell.  I listened to his speech yesterday and it was in monotone.  He needs lessons in public speaking.  He appears to be fumbling for words.  I turned him off.

Bless.  How long has he been installed as the anointed leader and already he has accepted a pay raise and a tax payer chauffeur driven car?
