Maybe; I just see him as a very hollow man, Lily. He's never had a proper job, and spent his entire political career in the warm cocoon of luvvie central, Islington.

He's never really been challenged; all those rousing speeches have been made to audiences of other lefties who agree with him. Look how many of his supposedly core beliefs he's gone back on in little more than a week! A strong man doesn't do that, IMO.

Downing Street has said it refuses to "dignify" a book written by a former Tory donor which makes lurid claims about David Cameron's past.

A spokesman for the Prime Minister said Lord Ashcroft "set out his reasons for writing a book" and said they would not "dignify this book by offering comment".
