f you’d have said a year ago that the US State Department, Google, and Al Jazeera had been collaborating in pursuance of regime change in Syria, chances are you’d have been casually dismissed as a ‘crank’ and a ‘conspiracy theorist’.
Syria was a people’s uprising against a wicked genocidal Russian-backed dictator and the West had nothing to do with the bloodshed which engulfed the country. If you thought otherwise then you were considered an 'Assad apologist'.

However, thanks to Wikileaks, the Freedom of Information Act, and Hillary Rodham Clinton’s use of a private, non-secure email server, we can see what was really going on behind the curtain.

Overall, 30,322 emails and attachments dating from June 30, 2010 to August 12, 2014, including 7,570 written by Clinton herself, have been published.

They haven’t made much of an impact in the mainstream media, which is not surprising considering their explosive content.

The emails reveal how the US State Department, ‘independent’ media and Silicon Valley have worked together to try and achieve foreign policy goals.....etc.

Good God! I've just heard someone on Fox complaining that the 'problem' with Palmyra being liberated is that it's the Russian air force and the Syrian government ground forces that are doing it.

I suppose it would be a tragedy if any of McCain's pet terrorists met with a long-overdue bullet.

“A Russian special operations forces [SOF] officer was killed near a town of Palmyra while guiding Russian warplanes to IS [previously ISIS/ISIL] targets,” a military source at Russia’s airbase Khmeimim told Interfax news agency on Thursday.

The source added that the special forces operator was on a mission near Palmyra for at least a week, detecting the terrorists’ most important targets and providing coordinates for Russian warplanes to strike.

“The officer died as a hero, calling a strike onto himself after he was compromised and surrounded by terrorists,” the source added.

Better than being captured alive by the scum.

All historical monuments in Syria that were destroyed by terrorists will be restored with the help of both local and international experts, said Maamun Abdel-Karim, the head of Syria's Directorate-General for Antiquities and Museums (DGAM).

Adbel-Karim welcomed the soon coming liberation of Palmyra from Daesh. On Friday, the Syrian Army alongside the Desert Falcons militia units defeated Daesh militants and took control over the Palmyra Castle. The jihadists used the castle as a place to for their snipers and mortars shelling the Syrian Army.

But international lawyer and author of 'Syria's Endangered Heritage,' Franklin Lamb, told RT that he is optimistic that Palmyra's historic sites can be largely restored.

“I predict that between 90 and 95 percent of all the damage that IS has done to Palmyra can be restored” with technology, he said.

“Sure, there's going to be piles of rubble and you can't restore every stone the way it was...but you can restore it and that's the primary goal...so I'm very optimistic that restoration can be made.”

seem pretty positive. I suppose that with time - and hopefully, peace - the restorations will become part of history, too.

Let us also not forget that the USA supports the FSA and is working to continue to fund and train jihadists in Syria to overthrow the Assad regimen, an action that will only allow the Islamists, and ultimately Turkey, to dominate the Middle East.

That's the key section, IMO. The US isn't openly backing ISIS, but money, weapons etc., sent to the 'brave freedom fighters' is all being diverted to the jihadists. And the US is still pushing the myth of the 'moderate rebel'. One assumes the moderates are the ones that just shoot prisoners, instead of burning them alive, etc.

Look at McCain, cheerily posing with jihadists! History is NOT going to be kind to the Obama administration, IMO.

Footage has emerged of the killing of a 12-year-old boy, who was mistakenly thought to be a child soldier fighting for al-Assad.

A Syrian rebel group has described the beheading of a young boy as an "individual mistake".

The 12-year-old boy, who was mistakenly identified as a child solider fighting for President Bashar al-Assad, was killed by fighters said to be from the US-backed Nour al-Din al-Zinki Movement.

Footage of the beheading, which has circulated on social media, shows the boy on the back of a truck being taunted by several men.

"This is a prisoner from the Quds Brigade," one of the men says. "They don't have men any more so they've sent us children today."

Gleefully sawing the head off a child, and videoing the whole thing to post on social media for the whole world to see is an act of subhuman barbarity.

Footage appears to show the boy with bandages round his waist and one of his legs and a plastic medical tube near his arm.

Oh, the poor little boy they beheaded was ill, too? What heroes!

Mind you, US-backed 'rebels' were also filmed cutting out the internal organs of dead government soldiers and eating them, so beheading children on camera is probably all in a day's fun for them.

No wonder Assad has managed to hang on and is supported by millions of loyal Syrians!
