Security policy expert slams Jeremy Corbyn’s terror speech.
Rohullah Yakobi, who fled the Taliban aged 12, said Corbyn ‘ignores the role of Islamic extremism and its world view.’
LONDON — Jeremy Corbyn’s speech linking wars abroad to domestic terrorism was “anti-British” and gives Islamic State “a major propaganda boost,” according to a former refugee and fellow of a security think tank.
Rohullah Yakobi, who fled Afghanistan aged 12 after being held captive and tortured by the Taliban, claimed the Labour leader “ignores the role Islamic extremists play and their world view.”

European security services are bracing for more attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan beginning tomorrow, after Islamic State called on its followers to rise up in an “all-out war” on "infidels” in the West.
Saturday marks the start of a 30-day period of fasting and reflection in the Islamic world, which has in recent years seen a large uptick in Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) terror attacks.
“Muslim brothers in Europe who can’t reach the Islamic State lands, attack them in their homes, their markets, their roads and their forums,” the jihadist group said in a message entitled Where are the lions of war? and published on YouTube.
Defending themselves after the suicide attack on Manchester Arena, which left 22 mostly children and teenagers dead, the group said: “Do not despise the work. Your targeting of the so-called innocents and civilians is beloved by us and the most effective, so go forth and may you get a great reward or martyrdom in Ramadan.”....etc.
The crazies don't seem to be listening to Jezza.....

Re: Mrs May calls snap General Election
Corbyn's just had a car crash interview with Andrew Neil:
https://order-order.com/2017/05/26/corbyn-lies-never-met-ira/
Tonight Jeremy Corbyn told Andrew Neil: “I never met the IRA”. Seriously?
In 1984, two weeks after the Brighton bombing, Corbyn invited two members of the Provisional IRA, Linda Quigley and Gerard McLoughlin, to parliament. MacLochlainn was a close friend of Corbyn. In 1981 he served two and a half years in jail for conspiracy to cause explosions.
According to a report in the Sinn Fein/IRA newspaper An Phoblacht, in 2000 Corbyn shared a platform with Brendan McKenna at an event commemorating Bloody Sunday. McKenna was jailed for his role in bombing the British Legion hall in Portadown. ...more at link.

Yet another of Sturgeon's Brownshirts:
https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/fp/dundee-man-charged-racist-facebook-posts-relating-manchester-terrorist-attack/
A Dundee man has been charged with posting racist and abusive messages on Facebook over the Manchester bombing.
The Tele can reveal that Alister Craigie, 59, of Balmore Street in Stobswell, was arrested and charged by police for allegedly making remarks about English people in the wake of Monday’s tragedy — which saw 22 people killed by a suicide bomber.
Craigie allegedly took to social media just hours after the atrocity to make comments about the victims.
He also allegedly responded to questions from other people to say that people at a concert deserved to die if they were English.
He appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court to face a charge of sending “racist, abusive and offensive comments” in relation to the bombing.
...etc.
This has been getting worse and worse ever since the SNP backstabbed its core supporters and courted the bottom-feeding dregs, the IRA sympathisers and racists. Sturgeon deliberately whips them up with her endless shrieks of Toaries!

Re: Mrs May calls snap General Election
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/27/revealed-jeremy-corbyn-blamed-iras-poppy-day-massacre-british/
Jeremy Corbyn blamed one of the IRA’s most notorious bombings on Britain’s “occupation” of Northern Ireland, The Sunday Telegraph can reveal.
The Labour leader signed a parliamentary motion just weeks after the 1987 Enniskillen Poppy Day massacre pointing the finger at the UK government.
The bomb, which ripped through a crowd attending a Remembrance Sunday ceremony, killed 11 people and left another 68 injured.
The early day motion expressed “horror” at the attack but said violence in Northern Ireland “stems primarily from the long-standing British occupation”.
Diane Abbott, the Labour shadow home secretary, put her name to the statement as well according to parliamentary records.
The motion also formally calls for Britain to relinquish control of the country and a United Ireland to be created - something Mr Corbyn now claims not to support.
Relatives of people killed in the Enniskillen massacre last night condemned the Labour leader for holding the victims of the attack in "contempt".
Aileen Quinton, whose mother Alberta was killed in the blast while wearing medals won as a nurse in the Second World War, expressed fury.
“Northern Ireland is primarily occupied then and now by Northern Irish people, the majority of whom wish to continue to be part of the Union”, she told this newspaper.
“Corbyn’s excuses for terrorism is as stark as his contempt for the rights of consent for the people of Northern Ireland.
“The primary blame for terrorist attacks should be the terrorists who attacked. There is a secondary blame and that is those who support or seek to appease."
The Enniskillen bombing on Remembrance Sunday, 8 November 1987, was one of most infamous attacks perpetrated by the IRA.
A bomb placed near the Northern Irish town’s war memorial exploded into crowds attending a service and injured or killed dozens.
The IRA, which claimed responsibility, said British soldiers rather than civilians were the target but saw supporters abandon them over the attack.
Parliamentary records show that Mr Corbyn was among more than a dozen MPs who signed a motion about the attack on 24 November 1987 - just two and a half weeks later.
It read: “That this House expresses its horror at the continuing loss of life in Northern Ireland, as occurred at Enniskillen; believes that the violence in Northern Ireland and bloodshed in Northern Ireland stems primarily from the long-standing British occupation of that country. …”
The motion also called for “the realisation of the ancient and undoubted aspirations of the majority of the Irish people for a united and independent Ireland”.
The revelation deepens the row over Mr Corbyn’s past links with the republican movement as security dominates the election campaign in the final fortnight.
Mr Corbyn claimed he had “never met the IRA” this week during an interview in which he was repeatedly grilled about his views on Northern Ireland.
However critics have pointed out he repeatedly met with senior Sinn Féin leaders including Gerry Adams and shared stages with other controversial figures.
Ms Abbott yesterday attempted to play down criticisms by saying there was a difference between “private meetings” and “being on a platform with people”.
But Boris Johnson, the Foreign Secretary, attacked Ms Abbott for “disgracefully” trying to defend Mr Corbyn’s claim that he had never met the IRA.
A spokesman for Mr Corbyn said: "The early day motion looked at the roots of violence in Northern Ireland.
"It expressed horror at the continuing loss of life and does not in any way condone the bombings. Jeremy has always condemned terrorism and the IRA's armed campaign."
Once a Fellow Traveller, always a Fellow Traveller. Jezza must have been heartbroken when the Soviet Union collapsed.

As you say, once a fellow traveller .... LL
Jeremy Corbyn was arrested at IRA demo.
Jeremy Corbyn was arrested in 1986 taking part in a protest by IRA sympathisers to “show solidarity” with accused terrorists including the Brighton bomber, a Sunday Times investigation reveals.
Corbyn joined a picket outside the Old Bailey to oppose the “show trial” of a group including Patrick Magee, who was subsequently convicted of murdering five people at the 1984 Tory party conference.
Magee was also convicted with the other defendants of planning a massive bombing campaign in London and seaside resorts.

Re: Mrs May calls snap General Election
Sturgeon seems to have lost the plot completely:
http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/810159/general-election-Nicola-Sturgeon-plans-tax-raid-middle-classes
Sample:
“The SNP will put forward a responsible and credible fiscal plan that will free up an additional £118bn of public investment to grow the economy, safeguard our public services, protect household incomes and put the UK’s finances back on a stable footing.
“If that money was rightly spent on public services and supporting low paid households, it could inject a further £10bn over the next parliament into spending in Scotland.”
The SNP said its fiscal plan would aim to balance the UK budget by 2022, stabilise net borrowing at the level it was at before the financial crash and see debt begin to fall as a share of GDP from 2019.
Eh? What? The UK budget is none of her concern - thankfully, considering the disaster she's caused in Scotland. Unless she thinks she's going to be in coalition with Jezza, which is a truly terrifying prospect.

Meanwhile, as Sturgeon dreams of world domination, Flabbot causes another disaster for Labour:
Diane Abbot refuses to renounce her former support for the IRA FOUR times as she likens changing her mind on the terror group to changing her hairstyle
Abbott dismissed her old support for the IRA, comparing it to her old afro haircut
The comment is like to spark accusations she is trivialising the issue
The shadow home secretray also confronted over why she voted against banning terror group Al Qaeda and previously called for MI5 to be scrapped
Home Secretary Amber Rudd slapped down Ms Abbott over the comments

Jeremy Corbyn refused to criticise his shadow minister for comparing her IRA support to an old haircut.
Asked about it on ITV's Peston On Sunday, he said: 'Diane's hairstyle is a matter for Diane.'

Did Corbyn even notice when The Soviet Union collapsed?
And as for Diane Abbott's hairstyle, she's been using a Western Wig for decades. I wonder why when I didn't think there was anything wrong with her real hair. If she's actually got any these days.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/28/jeremy-corbyn-has-long-hated-britain/
Just as Labour started to climb in the opinion polls it was typical of Jeremy Corbyn to make a speech yesterday in which he effectively blamed British foreign policy for the Manchester attack. I agree with Mr Corbyn that some of the interventions in foreign wars in recent years – almost all under Labour governments – were ill-judged, but to put them at the root of the Manchester atrocity is simplistic and ignorant.
It also smelt to me of Mr Corbyn’s long-standing hatred for this country, a hatred borne out by the fact that even when his party has been in power he has opposed almost every policy successive governments have implemented to shape the country.
What interests me more about his twisted logic is why he seemed to find so little to object to in the IRA’s dreadful bombing in Manchester in 1996, yet was eventually able to object to last Monday’s atrocity (he began by describing it as an act of violence, and had to be pressed to admit it was terrorism).
Mr Corbyn’s conversion from the bombers’ friend to upright patriot is as unconvincing as almost everything else he stands for, and indicates why he cannot be trusted to run this country.

Earlier this week, an SNP activist in Cowie, Stirling filmed herself following Tory campaigners as they delivered leaflets to voters. The Nationalist stalked them from her car, blasting music, and shouting ‘get out of Scotland’ and warned she would be ‘coming after’ them if they returned to the village. Another SNP leading light attacked Christine Jardine, the Lib Dem candidate in Edinburgh West, in a cruel and callous Twitter rant. This troll, a Nationalist council candidate just last month, accused Jardine of campaigning during the post-Manchester election truce. In fact, she was burying her husband that day but her pleas for decency went unheeded by Nicola Sturgeon’s boot boy.
One Tory candidate reports that his Nationalist opponent has taken to accusing voters at hustings of being secret Labour members. Sorry to disappoint the SNP but this is an election in Scotland, not an episode of Homeland. Most of us can’t remember if we’re still in the office lottery syndicate let alone co-conspirators in a Unionist masterplan to throw the election.

Re: Mrs May calls snap General Election
Tax on homes 'to treble under Labour plans for Land Value Tax'.
Council tax bills would treble for middle-class homeowners under Labour plans to introduce a so-called “garden tax” on the value of land, it was claimed last night.
The Labour manifesto contains plans for a Land Value Tax to replace council tax, which would hit people with gardens the hardest.
The manifesto contains no detail of how the tax would be applied, but the Conservatives claim tax on the the average family home would go up from £1,185 to £3,837 per year, an increase of £2,651 or 224 per cent.
Opponents of the tax say it would cause house prices to plummet, putting homeowners at risk of negative equity and forcing families to sell off their gardens to developers to lessen their tax burden.
Because the tax would also apply to agricultural land, it could have a knock-on effect of driving up food prices.
The policy was described as “nonsensical” by Boris Johnson, the Foreign Secretary, who said it would “bring misery to every single family in Britain”.
While council tax works by taxing the overall value of a property, Land Value Tax would impose an annual charge on the rental value of land, not counting any improvements such as houses built on it.
It would mean that a vacant plot in the middle of a row of houses would have the same value as the plots that had houses on them. Agricultural land would also be taxed in the same way.
Homeowners with gardens, as well as farmers, would see bills rise, while people living in flats without gardens would be likely to pay less.
The policy has been driven by the Labour Land Campaign, a working group praised by Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell, and is regarded by its supporters as a fairer way of taxing property.
The campaign proposes a “standard rate” of 3 per cent of the value of land, which would be applied to 55 per cent of a home’s value (based on the assumption that land accounts for 55 per cent of a property’s value). The tax would be levied on 100 per cent of the value of vacant plots.
The average house price in England in March 2017 was £232,530, meaning an annual tax bill of £3,837 based on a 3 per cent tax on 55 per cent of the value.
In Kensington and Chelsea, where the average home is worth £1.4m, town hall taxes would jump from £1,208 to £23,213, an increase of £22,005, or 1,821 per cent.
Mr McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, has said the tax will “raise the funds we need”.
The centre-left think tank the Institute for Public Policy Research, a favourite of Tony Blair, warned in a research paper on Land Value Tax that “there would be many losers” and it might become “a tax on gardens” and hit biodiversity because large gardens would be sold off to developers.
The IPPR also warned that the tax “might push some heavily mortgaged homeowners over the edge” and lead to repossessions.
The National Farmers’ Union has warned that by imposing land tax on agricultural land “it would simply increase the cost of UK food production with no benefit for shoppers”.
The Land Value Taxation Campaign, a pressure group set up in 1991, believes “land value owes nothing to individual effort and everything to the community at large. It belongs justly and uniquely to the community”.
Meanwhile the Labour Land Campaign says a drop in house prices would be “one of the long-term benefits of LVT”.
Boris Johnson said: “Jeremy Corbyn needs to hit ordinary working families with a bombshell of new taxes to pay for his reckless hard-left giveaways, and this lays bare the price we would all pay.
“It would wreck our economy, devastate farmers and increase the cost of food on the shelves.”
A Labour spokesman said: "This is desperate nonsense from the Tories. Labour has no such plans."
My comment: As Brits love their gardens, even if they are the size of a postage stamp, I wouldn't like to be around if this is true. What next, window-boxes? This is the road to collectivisation, ie communism by any other name.

And that is exactly what Corbyn is, under his kindly grandfather act. I personally have NO desire to go through the sheer horror and chaos of the '70s again, but that is what would happen if he got anywhere near power.
He'd betray the Falklands and Gibraltar, stand by while Sinn Fein and the increasingly unhinged Sturgeon dismembered the UK itself and impose utter misery on whatever was left of the UK. Oh, and as he's never met a terrorist he didn't like, social order would rapidly break down.
Mind you, he and his chums would probably end up in front of a firing squad when the military restored order - we tried all this Republican control freakery and misery 400 years ago, didn't much like it then, and won't like it now if Jezza tried it.
My main concern about Jezza is that a lot of younger people simply don't know what the disgusting IRA did, and are fooled by this 'romantic rebels' bullshit that comes from Jezza, Flabbot and co, and they have no concept of the sheer misery socialism causes.
Homeowners with gardens, as well as farmers, would see bills rise, while people living in flats without gardens would be likely to pay less.
And who would benefit? Why, the denizens of Tower Hamlets and other Labour sh*tholes, while people with the least bit of aspiration for themselves and their families were squeezed dry.

Labour shadow chancellor John McDonnell allegedly called for the "ballot, the bullet and the bomb" to unite Ireland - and joked that 'gutless wimps' who refused to meet Sinn Fein should be knee-capped at the height of the Troubles.
According to The Times, the remarks were made at a public meeting of 100 people including members of the IRA's political wing, at a pub in New Cross, South London in 1986 - before the peace process.
The newspaper says it has uncovered archive material showing Mr McDonnell suggested with black humour that Labour councillors who boycotted the meeting should have their "knee-caps shot off".
The event was allegedly documented in a local newspaper, the Deptford & Peckham Mercury which said Mr McDonnell was addressing the meeting on behalf of the self-styled Labour committee on Ireland.
A Sinn Fein councillor from Northern Ireland was a guest speaker, according to the report.
The local newspaper report said: "Mr McDonnell went on to describe the Lewisham Labour councillors who had boycotted the meeting as "gutless wimps" and joked that "knee-capping might help to change their minds".
The IRA continued using bombs after Mr McDonnell's speech and in 1987 - a year later - eleven people were killed in the Enniskillen bombing on Remembrance Sunday.
Mr McDonnell was speaking as part of a tour by Sinn Fein of Labour councils in London that he helped to organise.
When contacted by The Times a spokesman said Mr McDonnell has no recollection of making the remarks.
A spokesman said: "John has no recollection of making these remarks. This quote is clearly taken out of context - John rejects all forms of violence and has done so all his political career.....etc

Re: Mrs May calls snap General Election
That's Corbyn finished - he's upset Mumsnet:
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/apos-huge-disappointment-apos-mumsnet-122210287.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=tw
Jeremy Corbyn has been criticised for Mumsnet users for not answering their questions and leaving their webchat "too early".
Shortly after his disastrous interview on Woman's Hour, Jeremy Corbyn geared up for a webchat at Mumsnet Towers.
However, he only answered a few questions, leaving his audience frustrated and annoyed.
The Labour leader stayed on the webchat for less than 20 minutes after arriving late.
He signed off by saying he was late for a train, writing: "Thanks Mumsnet - I am running to catch a train and get a seat! Really sorry I couldn't stay longer. But please have a good look at For The Many, Not The Few, it's a rattling good read!"
One user said: "What an absolute waste of time!"
Another fumed: "That was a huge disappointment".
Mr Corbyn was also accused of failing to answer serious questions, such as one about antisemitism, instead choosing to write two paragraphs about biscuits.
A Mumsnet user said: "Yep. Arrive late, leave early. Answer fluffy questions including two paragraphs about biscuits then go. Why am I not surprised."
The questions he did answer included one about whether the manifesto was leaked on purpose. He said that it wasn't and that he was "very annoyed" about it.
Sample of the serious questions he was facing:
Good, he needs to be exposed for what he is. I just hope he doesn't fool too many younger people with all his pious waffle about 'seeking peace'.

Kim Seabrook @POEternity
After his disaster on #womanshour Jeremy Corbyn now abandons #Mumsnet in haste. Is he on a mission to lose the Election in a single day?

Re: Mrs May calls snap General Election
Jeremy Corbyn in car-crash interview over childcare pledge.
Jeremy Corbyn suffered his worst moment so far of the election campaign when he was stumped on live radio by a simple question about the cost of a child care policy he was trying to promote.
The Labour leader was hoping to woo female voters by appearing on Woman’s Hour on BBC Radio 4, but instead stumbled through the “car crash” interview unsure of his facts and ended up patronising the audience by suggesting child care was the number one priority for women.
