He may be awfully good at bawling through a megaphone at his devoted followers, Sabot, but there's a bit more to running a country than rabble-rousing.

I have high hopes of him losing his temper when faced with really difficult questions - he's done it a few times before...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/31/general-election-2017-shock-poll-suggests-hung-parliament-theresa/

Revealed: Jeremy Corbyn's leaked plan
Labour has drawn up a secret plan to allow thousands of unskilled migrants to enter the UK after Brexit, leaked documents seen by the Daily Telegraph have revealed.

Jeremy Corbyn's party is considering bringing back a scrapped visa scheme which would allow unskilled labourers to move to the UK and compete with British workers for jobs - including seasonal work on farms and in factories.

The policy paper also sets out plans for a green card scheme and admits Labour does not consider cutting net migration a priority.

It is the first time the party's immigration policy has been set out publicly after the manifesto set out aims but no detail on how Labour would develop a new visa system.

Jezza really does hate Britain.

Britain is facing the prospect of a hung parliament as the latest seat projection poll forecasts that Theresa May's gamble might not pay off.

The constituency-by-constituency estimate by YouGov indicates the Tories could lose 20 seats and see its majority wiped out.

Its analysis estimates that Jeremy Corbyn could walk away with another 28 seats.

YouGov's analysis for The Times puts the Tories on 310 seats, down from the 330 they went into the election with, and 16 short of a majority.

Those figures are from the model's central estimate, which acknowledges a large range of variation. And its worth noting that other polls tell a different story.

A good night for Theresa May would see the Tories secure 345 seats - a net gain of 15.

A bad night could see the Conservatives with just 274 seats.

YouGov's model draws on the data collected from around 50,000 panellists quizzed on their voting intention over the course of a week and uses a recently-developed technique called multilevel regression and post-stratification (MRP).

The pollster's MRP model is based on the fact that people with similar characteristics tend to vote similarly, but not identically, regardless of where they live.

YouGov have acknowledged that models could not produce estimates as accurate as a full-scale poll in each constituency.

Enlighten me, please. I thought one of the reasons for Brexit was the need to stop them furriners invading the UK and take away jobs from the natives. So, if he gets in, Corbyn is going to let anybody in to the country? LL scratch scratch

So, if he gets in, Corbyn is going to let anybody in to the country?

Yes, and they'll all vote Labour forever more in gratitude, LL. Just accept that Corbyn and his merry band of Trots actually hate Britain, and it all makes perfect sense.

Of course, any Corbyn government would probably end in a military coup, as anyone with two farthings to rub together will get their hard-earned cash out of the country, his cult followers will find out there is no magic money tree and you can't eat 'hope' and riot, and the country will spiral into ever-greater chaos.

Until the army steps in, in the time-honoured fashion.

I just paid £103 to renew my passport - I didn't need to as my Austrian EU one has 7 years to go, but if I ever wanted to visit the UK it would be easier to have a valid, current passport. If Corbyn and his commie pals get in I will not visit the UK until he gets shoved out. LL

Don't blame you, LL, it would be the chaos and squalor of the '70's all over again - with added anti-semitism and more terrorism, what with Jezza being so chummy with them all.

I really do think a Corbyn government would end with the military taking control, leading to a REALLY Right-wing Tory government trying to sort the mess out.

It's beyond me why people are fooled by the Stasi-approved candidate and his Trot chums.

I'll renew my passport once we really are clear of the EU, Sabot, they're handy for ID - remember, the UK doesn't have ID cards. Though Comrade Corbyn would probably insist we all carried one, at all times.

It’s been a decade since the SNP faced any real opposition and it shines through in their manifesto.

For the past ten years, the Nationalists have coasted, their gravity-defying poll numbers affording them the luxury of defining their opponents and steering clear of difficult decisions. Now Professor Newton has caught up with them and they are struggling to keep their heads above water.

Their 2017 manifesto is the rickety canoe they have fashioned to keep themselves afloat. Independence hasn’t quite been thrown overboard so much as shoved into the hull in that hope that no one notices.

https://order-order.com/2017/05/31/top-irish-historian-corbyn-didnt-support-ira-ceasefire/

The Catholic Northern Irish writer Eilis O’Hanlon says:

“From Corbyn to McDonnell to Ken Livingstone, they all justify it these days by saying it was OK because it led eventually to the peace process. But that’s disingenuous in the extreme. When they were out defending the IRA, its fellow travellers also didn’t know when, or if, that campaign would end. They still happily supported, or had an ambivalent attitude towards, Republican violence. They knew exactly what they were doing, and how their solidarity was used by the Republican movement to paint its murder campaign as part of some wider struggle for social justice.”

I'd reckon its 10% - 15%. People tell pollsters virtue-signalling lies, but when they get into the poll booth, they tend to think of their bank accounts - and Corbyn being chummy with so many terrorists.

Jeremy Corbyn should not be allowed to rewrite the history of his support for the IRA.

Something remarkable is happening in British politics right now. Something rotten and disgusting too. Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of Her Majesty’s loyal (sic) opposition, is trying to rewrite history. Here is what Corbyn said to Robert Peston at the weekend:

“I do make the point that if you are to develop a peace process in the Middle East or anywhere else in this world for that matter, you have to have serious conversations and negotiations with all the forces involved. […] Listen, the Northern Ireland parallel is sometimes a bit overplayed by nevertheless it is an important one. The successive British governments thought there was a military solution in Northern Ireland. They spent millions of pounds, thousands of troops, and hundreds of lives were lost in pursuing a military conflict in Northern Ireland. Ultimately it was resolved, so far, by a political process which had respect for the traditions of both communities if you like, in Northern Ireland and we reached a compromise, we reached a settlement, we reached a political process. That, surely, is an interesting model. That required meetings between people who profoundly disagreed with each other, who adopted methods that both sides profoundly disagreed with, but nevertheless a settlement was reached. Had we started from that process rather than trying to get a military solution we might have saved a lot of lives.”

The audacity of this interpretation of Anglo-Irish history, and of Corbyn’s small part in that story, is as astonishing as its dishonesty.

https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2016/05/jeremy-corbyn-should-not-be-allowed-to-rewrite-the-history-of-his-support-for-the-ira/
Fifteen years previously, Corbyn was a member of the board of Labour Briefing, a fringe magazine for diehard leftists that unequivocally supported the IRA’s bombing campaign. Corbyn organised the magazine’s mailing-list and was a regular speaker at its events. In December 1984, the magazine“reaffirmed its support for, and solidarity with, the Irish republican movement” noting that its “overwhelming priority as active members of the British labour movement is to fight for and secure an unconditional British withdrawal”. Only “an unconditional British withdrawal, including the disarming of the RUC and UDR, will allow for peace in Ireland. Labour briefing stands for peace, but we are not pacifists”. Moreover, “It certainly appears to be the case that the British only sit up and take notice when they are bombed into it”. That being so, discussions with the SDLP and the Irish government were, at best, a distraction. Only Sinn Fein and the IRA spoke for Ireland. Labour Briefing explicitly opposed the SDLP, preferring instead to endorse the republican terrorist campaign.

This was published a few weeks after the Brighton bombing. A bombing designed to assassinate the British Prime Minister. As far as Labour Briefing was concerned, the Prime Minister was a legitimate target. Condemning the bombing showed that the Labour party had lost its ‘political nerve’. The Corbynite left, however, was made of sterner stuff. As Labour Briefing had previously written: “We refuse to parrot the ritual condemnation of ‘violence’ because we insist on placing responsibility where it lies…. Let our ‘Iron Lady’ know this: those who live by the sword shall die by it. If she wants violence, then violence she will certainly get.”

Incidentally, I personally think Mrs May is quite right to avoid tonight's bunfight. They always turn into shouting matches, which may be why viewing figures for them are so low.

This one might be slightly less screechy, as Sturgeon won't be there - she's sent An*us (silent g) Robertson instead, who says the same things over and over and over again.

I wonder, did the Corbinista rent-a-mob outside the TV studios last night stop to think how a rabble like them looked to ordinary voters?

That's half of England, and a fair chunk of Wales and Scotland, that Corbyn devotee is calling 'scum'.

And if they think that shambles of a 'debate' impressed anyone but themselves, they are very much mistaken. Five bullies shouting two people down, with the audience baying for blood, is NOT a good look.

Mrs May was perfectly correct to stay away from that trainwreck.

They'd shaft each other, LL, she's as left-wing as he is under that child-cuddling facade. And all she cares about is her illusion of 'independence in Europe' - Corbyn would be delighted to help her destroy the UK. They're a dangerous combination, IMO.
