It's a pattern with him rhodes. If we can see through it, what does he think CR see?

Well, if you were in Havern's shoes, left to carry the can for Bennett, CR breathing down your neck, Bennett AWOL, having told CR a load of lies....what else is there to do, Sabot?

They need not bother fooling themselves that a bit of tinkering with that thread will sort things out; it was a Stalk-and-libel-athon from the very first post.

There is another big problem for Bennett now. Antis are twittering about it thus spreading the libel further.

IMO, the thing that is really going to sink him is the 'holiday' story.

Well, at least most of their names are known. However,it is because of Bennett the sickos are passing it on. Bennett started the brush-fire and he cannot put it out. I hope the lawyer he has libeled, takes Bennett for every cent he has.

Well the holiday story was like giving Mr Smethurst via CR the finger. Since it was obvious to us that he carried on posting and twittering, does he think that they are stupid?

As you say, in this day and age, the internet is easily accessible to most people so he had no excuse for not removing that thread.

So, he has bought himself time regarding legal representation but that does not mean that CR have to stop proceeding towards further action beyond the 7 days given to him.

The CR second letter of the 4th is crystal clear; they ackowledge his waffle about 'holidays' then:

In the meantime, we have already made it clear that you are required to remove the postings complained about in their entirety.

He had to do it THEN AND THERE, no messing about.

The letter concludes:

Accordingly, should you now fail to remove the defamatory postings, together with the new notice, we will advise our client to issue proceedings for libel against you without further notice to you.

Bennett ignored that and carried on posting and twittering; I assume it was Havern herself who finally moved it out of the public domain.

But - it is way, way too late for Bennett, though she may save herself.

Let's put it this way, they stayed up long enough after the receipt of C & R' letters for us to screen grab.
Which means, non-compliance by Bennett.

Today I was made aware of a 2nd letter from Carter Ruck that was sent to Tony on 4th August. I didn't know anything about this letter until I saw it on someone's blog.

Part of the letter states:




Recently we have seen Carter Ruck have Pat Brown's book banned on Amazon without any notice whatsoever to her, so the thread will not be back on the forum.

Admin - presumably Havern - knew nothing till she saw it on a blog. Which suggests Bennett was happy to swan off and leave her to carry the can for all this.

Even by his lack of moral fibre, that is appalling - Havern had now joined the long list of allies shafted by Bennett.

I think that shows great fear from Bennett, Bonny. Why else would he say nothing to admin before doing a runner?

I would like to know how this letter appeared on someone's blog, asking for posts to be removed, and not bothering to inform the forum owner? How did the screenshot get on that blog, when no-one here has seen or heard of it?

That would be because Bennett didn't tell you, dear, he carried on his rampage, having passed the letters to HLM to post when he was out danger, maybe?
