Something along those lines may well be of interest and concern to the Yard and the PJ team, Sabot. It happened so often it has to have been deliberate?

Which begs the question - why?

Why? For Levy, just Money. For Morais, a Fascist mind. Defend The PJ at all costs.

I don't know all that much about her Mother, but The Revolution was a complete cock up. And for three years no one knew who the hell was in charge. And then The PJ and The Government were infiltrated by The Secret Police and other facets of The Salazar Regime.
There is nothing strange about this. It has happened in every Revolution that ever happened.
People like the mother of Joana Morais who did have a voice in the beginning, eventually settled for what they personally could get out of it. Just take a look at The Spanish Civil War.
So, it probably isn't even her fault. Brain washed in the cradle. In the end they didn't want Democracy. Just a different kind of oppression.
