Denmark is considering moving migrants into camps outside its towns and cities, a tactic that the anti-immigration Danish People's Party (DF) hopes will shift the focus of government immigration policy to repatriation rather than integration.

Denmark has been widely criticized in the past month for proposals to tighten immigration laws including using refugees' valuables to pay for their stay and postponing family reunification to three years.

Led by the anti-immigration, eurosceptic DF party, parliament passed the resolution, which will force the government to come up with a proposal by March to build state-backed "villages" to replace housing in cities and towns.

Some tent camps have already been set up for single male refugees to give migrant families priority in cities.

The refugee debate is hot in Denmark, which took in a record 20,000 refugees last year, with a poll showing 70 percent of voters see it as the most important issue on the political agenda, according to the daily paper Berlingske......etc., including Amnesty having a tanty, as usual.

Hungary praises Austrian decision on migrants

Hungary's prime minister has praised Austria for setting a cap on the number of migrants it will take in, saying "common sense has prevailed." Viktor Orban said Friday on state radio that the Austrian decision to accept 37,500 refugees this year and a total of 127,500 through 2019 was "the most important news of the past months" and showed that "Europe can't take in huge masses of foreign people in an unlimited, uncontrolled manner."

Orban, who last year built fences on the borders with Serbia and Croatia to stop the migrant flow, said that for Hungary "the best migrant is the migrant who does not come. The best number is zero." Orban also said that Hungary had exported hundreds of kilometers of its razor wire fence — many of its elements built by convicts in workshops — to Macedonia, Slovenia and Bulgaria.

Hungary is ready to build a fence on the border with Romania “the next day” if refugees change their route from Croatia, the foreign minister told Reuters news agency. Europe’s southern borders are still wide open to hundreds of thousands of migrants from the Middle East and Africa, and this puts in doubt the future of the Schengen system of open internal borders, Reuters cited Szijjártó as saying. The joint European force should be strengthened with several tens of thousands of police and soldiers to stop the flow of migrants on Greece’s long sea border.

“If it was not tragic I would laugh when I hear European officials speaking about hundreds of Frontex officers being the solution — it’s not the case. If Greece is not willing to take part in this solution … we need the Bulgarians and Macedonians to talk to,” the minister said.Hungary has made preparations to quickly build a fence on its border with Romania if necessary. “If we have to build a fence there, we are ready from the next day. It is more likely than ever that the southern border of the Schengen zone will be equal to the northern border of Greece (with Bulgaria and Macedonia),” Szijjártó said.

It's glaringly obvious that this simply cannot go on, LL, not least because actually, it ISN'T the EU's responsibility to take in these people. Why aren't they heading south, to Saudi?

Good luck with that one, chum. I wonder when it's going to dawn on the elites that many ordinary people have no desire whatsoever to 'integrate' with these woman-hating barbarians? And that it isn't a 'refugee' problem, it's an islam problem.

None of this would be happening if those involved were Sikhs, or Buddhists, or any other faith. Anything but that backward, totalitarian belief system that calls itself 'islam'.

Germany to BAN alcohol? Ths Germans drink mainly beer, so to suggest the god-given right to attend beerfests and raise a stein full of dunkelbier is taken away then that stein, after being emptied, of course, down the holder's throat, would then be planted fairly and squarely on the top of the objector's head! I myself would object most forcefully if I was not able to sit in a bierhaus in Berlin drinking weissebier! LL

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that a fence should be erected on the Macedonian and Bulgarian borders with Greece to curb the inflow of migrants into Europe.

"If we cannot secure the outer border (of the EU), regardless of how costly or demanding that is, we will destroy the Schengen regime by ourselves," Orban said, referring to Europe's free-travel area.

He was speaking during a one-day visit to Slovenia.

Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar told the same news conference the European Union needed a joint solution within weeks to the migrant crisis to avoid possible conflicts between countries.

"We do not have time until spring to find a solution. We need a solution within weeks ... if not, we can expect conflicts between countries," Cerar said.

"The (migrant) situation is entirely out of control and has nothing to do with humanitarianism, integration and help," Cerar added....etc.

Putin denounced Lenin and his government for brutally executing Russia's last czar along with all his family and servants, killing thousands of priests and placing a "time bomb" under the Russian state by drawing administrative borders along ethnic lines.

That needed saying - I have never known why Lenin and other communists got a free pass for their atrocities, and plunging Russia and the wider world into seventy years of misery.

Putin said he sincerely believed in Communist ideology when he served in the KGB, adding that while promises of a fair and just society in the Communist ideology "resembled the Bible quite a lot" but the reality was different. "Our country didn't look like the City of the Sun," envisaged by socialist utopians, he said.

Someone had better tell Bernie Sanders.....

It's just a matter of time, IMO, till something happens that makes the indigenous European population finally snap, and then God help everyone. You've only got to look at history to see how thin the veneer of European civilisation actually.

The whole object of the EU was to stop Europeans killing each other ever again; instead, it's bringing us near-civil war.
