DEVELOPING: As many as a dozen people have reportedly been killed in what police call an active shooter situation Wednesday in San Bernardino, Calif., where SWAT teams were pursuing as many as three suspects.

Other reports said as many as 30 hostages were seen coming out of a building near a public gold course where the event occurred. The local Fox TV affiliate said at least 12 fatalities occurred inside the building, which was surround by authorities, just before noon local time.

The call came in around 11 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Waterman Avenue, at the Inland Regional Center, according to San Bernardino police Lt. Rich Lawhead. The San Bernardino Sheriff's Office closed off local streets and emergency responders were making their way into a cluster of buildings on the scene.

A witness told Fox News that gunmen wearing masks and body armor entered the building and started shooting. Another area resident said a woman trapped inside called her father and asked him to "pray for us.''

Bad news seems to be never-ending just now; it doesn't bode well if there are indeed several of them.

No confirmation, but it is being reported that the three shooters fled the scene in an SUV. It appears the building is a centre for the handicapped?

Yes, a black SUV was seen leaving the building some time ago, Bonny.  It is a center for the handicapped and disabled and they treat around 36,000 a year.

A reporter from the L.A. Times has written that there were 3 gunmen and they believe that at least 2 of them has escaped.  They have not had that info verified but it is going to print soon.

Yet more madness.

It has been stated by LE that there are 14 dead, 14 injured, and that's about all they do know. All three killers appear to have escaped, and there are no official descriptions of them. A lot of rumours are flying around, though.

They still haven't given out too much information.  The injured run from slightly injured to shot. They have the SUV, which they believe to have been used, surrounded with armored type vehicles.  They are sending in robotic type devices incase it is rigged.

The police will be giving another update soon.  I must say that the police have really organized themselves well.

FBI : 2 suspects, a male and a female, dressed in assault style outfits, dead at disabled SUV vehicle.
They were carrying assault rifles and hand guns

Third person seen running away has been detained, it is not known if they were involved.

There was a dispute at a big Public Health party, person walked out, not known if that person came back and was involved in the shootings.

Not known yet if terrorism.

San Bernardino Police Chief identifies US-born Syed Farook, 28, a county employee, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, as the two dead suspects. He does not know exactly what their relationship was and has no motive at this point, husband and wife or girlfriend and boyfriend. He does not know if they had a criminal record.

Baccari also said that Farook had traveled to Saudi Arabia for about a month this past spring. When Farook came back, word spread that he had gotten married and the woman he described as a pharmacist joined him shortly afterward. The couple had a baby later this year. Baccari added that the reserved Farook showed no signs of unusual behavior, although he grew out his beard several months ago.

San Bernardino's police chief confirmed that the mass shooting at a county Christmas banquet did not look like a spontaneous attack due to the amount of planning, devices, weapons and tactical gear involved.

Chief Jarrod Barguan told reporters in a late-night press conference the shooting suspects, both killed in a gunbattle with some 20 officers at the end of a pursuit, have been identified as Syed Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27. Farook was a U.S.-born citizen; the chief wasn't sure of Malik's background. He said he had no information on whether either had a criminal record.

Barguan said there was a relationship between the two; CBS News reported that the pair had been married for two years. CAIR said earlier that Farook and his wife have a 6-month-old baby.

Farook was an environmental specialist at the county health department. He had attended the Christmas party last year, and this year left the party early "angry" under circumstances that led police to the Redlands residence. The Daily Beast reported that Farook's mother lived there.

Initial reports indicated there may have been as many as three shooters, but the police chief said officials are "pretty confident" there were two.

Pressed on the motive for the shooting, in which 14 were killed and 17 were wounded, Barguan said, "Until we know the motive ... I just don't want to weigh in on that."

"We have not ruled out terrorism," he said.

It is now being reported that the killers' neighbours were concerned by the number of young men from the RoP seen coming and going from the deceased scums' apartment, but didn't want to report their suspicions cos that would have been raycist.
