He's a very interesting person, Sabot, with an uncanny knack of being proven right. It will be the ultimate irony if, after all this uproar, he's proven right about offshore windfarms. Scientists are beginning to suspect that it is the noise they create, which humans can't hear, that is causing whale strandings.

That's a pity because I like those massive thingies, can't think what they are called at the moment, but I think they are rather majestic. But I wouldn't want them to be killing Whales.

No, I am not against them just for appearance, Sabot, but that's on land. Unfortunately, there are at least growing suspicions that they are dangerous offshore.

That, and all the equally horrifying stories happening daily across the US, are one of several reasons why Trump is so far ahead.

Like many European leaders, Obama has failed to protect American citizens.

I genuinely do not know why people think Trump is some kind of deranged warmonger - he's anything but. It's the 'respectable' Republican candidates that are keen on blowing people to bits without reason.

He's certainly livened things up, Lily, and all sorts of nasty things have come wriggling out from under carpets....

I don't actually mind Carson, either, though he isn't, IMO, presidential material - I am sure a President Trump could find him a post fitting his talents. Kasich hasn't annoyed me yet, either, I find his amiable uncle act quite endearing.

But the rest of the Republicans - I wouldn't vote for them for town dog catcher, and IMO, Cruz is downright dangerous. The media would be better employed taking a hard look at him, instead of obsessing over Trump.

Kasich and Carson are good men, IMO. I am moderate and believe in being fair to the American people and indeed the world.

Cruz is someone I cannot even watch now. He has been nonstop in the lies. He should have become an actor like he said he wanted to be if he were not in politics. There are similarities there! I did watch the pundits talking today about the latest Cruz lie.

Never before have I seen such entertaining political events.

And in the Dem camp we have an elderly socialist and a yammering gorgon who should be heading for jail, not the White House....

Pope Francis, a man who lives in a country surrounded on all sides by a gigantic wall, has objected to Donald Trump’s plans to build his own wall to stop illegal immigrants.

Granted, the Vatican’s wall was built to stop marauding hordes of barbarians who didn’t obey Roman laws, didn’t speak Latin, and were mostly just attracted by Rome’s wealth and opportunities.

I hope Rupe is right, Cruz makes my skin crawl - I actually have to change channels, or mute him, as I cannot stand his voice.

I saw him on Fox, with one of the Duck Dynasty crew - Cruz actually changed his accent when he was talking to the bearded hillbilly millionaire. There was a lot of god-bothering.....

Bonny, I saw Cruz do that. He is lousy to be honest. As the days have gone by, I dislike him more and more.....
