And it isn't 'the McCann trial' - it's the Amaral trial. He is the one who is going to have to prove the Fridge Theory, and defend all his utterances in interviews and on TV.

They've been fantasizing for over 4 years of the moment when their Saint, Savior and Idol gets into court and stuns the court into silence and the media dashing to file their stories. To finally tell the court that the McCanns are guilty and this is what happened blah blah blah. I have the proof.

What's the betting that even after everything is done and dusted, they will still be fantasizing that Gonc will go to court and pull the Ace out from up his sleeve. Blah blah blah.

LL, it's actually scary to think that he was allowed to give advice to some people. I shudder at what we know what happened. Remember the grandmother who waited how long for a response only to be told she had no case? Some years ago, he would have been struck off without a blink.

They got him right about bringing the profession into disrepute.

In answer to your question Lily - for as long as the court would allow it. Some judges do like blood sports, but there is a limit.

I have noticed that many on various sites are positively slavering at this idea of Amaral stunning the court with a completely new piece of evidence. Maybe they needd to research court procedure a little more thouroughly than just watching reruns of Perry Mason.

Perhaps "discovery" would be a good place to start.

Poor old Bennett, just think of the time he must have spent on thinking up that Cunning Disguise. Not only has it failed to fool anyone, no-one even noticed 'Timothy's' rant until a few minutes ago. It's been sitting there, unloved and ignored, for over a week now.
