MYSTERY: Mike Gunnill, a book, a courier and a third party
Stella Today
Kololi, there is a big difference between actively distributing something to the masses, disregarding promises and supplying something just the once, on the basis of an individuals own personal research, which after some trouble obtaining it, he did.
Don't make me post up those emails again, Stella!

I am as bored by those Emails as I am by that wonderful Interview with Gonc by that Portuguese, TV Journalist Lawyer who ripped Gonc to shreds. That was the day on which I realised that there was hope for the common people of Portugal.

Oh, look what Bren has found and posted on Myths:

Doesn't sound like Bennett was 'under duress' to me.

We are looking at the mens rea now?
Mr Bennett owns up to actively having to track a leaflet down with the intention of supplying it to Peter Pumkin, or Dolly Daydream or whatever name Mike Gunnill was using, in exchange for money.
I see intention to sell a leaflet there and that's not including the intention (that was plastered all over this forum and others at the time) to supply a load more to Sym so that she could sell them on his behalf.
Yup.

Oh look, Bren had all sorts of goodies squirrelled away, which are now appearing on Myths....
http://stopthemyths.prophpbb.com/post58381.html#p58381
Maybe Debs can be a witness for the McCanns, tell the court all about him having six mistresses and making her dye her hair, all the good stuff?

Don't forget that she had to pay for their McDonalds, as always. However, that didn't stop her from 'loving the bones of him'.

Sounds right, Bonny. Never let it be said that Debs is an expensive date. In fact, they can't come much cheaper than that.

Meanwhile Debs cried in the car all the way home. I did wonder why, until it occurred to me that she was shocked rigid to discover that Bennett had much more money than she had while coercing her into paying for everything. What a lying cheapskate he is.

Re: Telegraph:Retired lawyer faces jail for 'harassing' Kate and Gerry McCann
Hounder:
To me, the word harassing means something a lot more personal and in-your-face than the things which Tony has supposedly done. It is more applicable in the case of a deranged person who stalks someone with whom possibly they were once involved, following them around, loitering outside their home and phoning at all hours. That sort of behaviour should rightly be stamped out and the person punished.
What, you mean, like taking photos of their family home at twilight and posting them on the internet?
You mean, like writing sicko stuff about them and pushing it through their neighbours' letterbox?
Like following them to their place of work and boasting about it on the internet?
Or hiding in their gardens to photograph their homes and post pictures of their security systems on the internet?
Maybe stalking them all the way to their holiday homes in Wales and harrassing them, despite their poor health?
ALL THINGS BENNETT HAS DONE TO HIS VICTIMS
Glad that hounder thinks it is deranged behaviour that needs stamped out and punished - perhaps the hounder should start a petition to have Bennett locked up for what he has done to people?

Ah, But Bennett doesn't just confine himself to stalking and harassing one person. He has got several on the go, and all at the same time. In fact he has made a career of it.
However, all of his Victims have chosen different ways in which to deal with him. Which just goes to prove that there are more ways than one to skin a cat.

Re: Telegraph:Retired lawyer faces jail for 'harassing' Kate and Gerry McCann
It's a marvel that the forkers and hounders cannot see how much they disgust the rest of society.
I could see some ending up cooling their heels in the cells if they go along to support Bennett next week; they will start shouting insults at the Carter Ruck people - I seem to recall they disrupted a meeting where Clarence Mitchell was speaking a while back?
They will start calling people 'trolls' and shouting about them being Masons or something; they have no idea how to behave in the real world.

Hello,
This Sunday Telegraph report is a complete lie and the ‘reporter’ has not read up on any cases of breach of High Court Undertaking. Tony Bennett and others should complain in the strongest possible terms about this.
A person who is accused of a breach of an undertaking RARELY if ever has to spend a single day in prison. Yes, in theory, a judge will say 4 weeks in prison, SUSPENDED for so many years, so as long as there is NO REPETITION of the alleged current offences, then there will be NO INCARCERATION of a person who is entitled to a warning only. PRISONS are for people who are a threat to society, not an elderly Grandfather who happens to speak his views.
AS FOR THE BREACH OF UNDERTAKING hearing: This trial would certainly not bankrupt most people unless they only had a couple of thousand pounds to their name or nothing saved. Likely costs of a contempt of court case would be around the £2,500 mark.
There’s another thing the reporter failed to warn Tony about. The Judge may have already decided that a suspended sentence (and a warning) is all that is required. But there is a cooling period (I forget the name for it but will look it up) between the time of the claim and the actual trial. Anything that the defendant posts in that time that is deemed to contravene that original Undertaking will be taken into account, so, what should have been a SUSPENDED sentence COULD EASILY now turn into a full 3 or 6 month prison sentence.
Incidentally, Bennett is not 'elderly'. He is only 64, and most men of his age are gainfully employed.

So does a two year cooling period, not count? Bennett signed the document in November 2009 It is now January 2012. How long a cooling period did he need?

I think the original poster is confusing time spent in custody awaiting trial, where someone is remanded in custody awaiting trial.
*Sorry, should have added, the time spent in custody counts towards the 'sentence' and is deducted from the actual time spent in prison.
Unless I've missed something, I don't think Bennett has been remanded in custody, has he?

How many letters has he received from C & R. politely asking him to stop?bb1 wrote:No, but as he is incapable of behaving, and seems to have total contempt for the law of the land....
And what did Bennett do, he posted those letters on the Internet and Mocked the lawyers. He has done so for the last two years and; he is whining now because he is going to be punished for his flagrant disregard of the courts?
Yeah, that'll look great on the case papers the judge will read.

Can you imagine what the judge thought when he opened his Sunday Telegraph yesterday and being faced with Bennett YET AGAIN attacking the McCanns?
