I don't know, Bonny. This shite has been going on for years and years. Michael Cook was convicted in the early 1990s, and The Ciprianos in 2004. And certain PJ Officers were apparently brought down from Lisbon to beat up Leonor Cipriano. This doesn't sound like a few rotten apples to me. And I refuse to believe that The PJ Hierarchy didn't know what was going on.
And then there are The Judges who accepted this grossly flawed Evidence, not to forget The Public Prosecutor who sent these things to Trial in the first place.

Do you know, the one thing that seriously pisses me off about me is that for about a month I completely forgot that I had done exactly the same thing that The McCanns did. I left my children alone and sleeping, and checked on them about every half hour, although it could have been longer. Why did I do that? Why did I forget? Was my subconscious telling me that I should be ashamed? Or did I desperately want to be one of this band of perfect Mothers?
