somehow wandered onto the property of a rather revolting neighbour; he was very, very badly injured. The little boy's grandad was also bitten in the course of rescuing his grandson.

And since when was it acceptable to train dogs to attack people in residential areas? To train them to attack children?

Since when was it acceptable for anyone but the police and military to use such dogs in the first place, and then only under specific circumstances? Which a toddler wandering into your garden in the aftermath of a street party most certainly is NOT.

Bonny, we all know what their questions are about, and we all know the answers. And we did try to tell them in the beginning when we thought that they really wanted to know. But they don't want to know. They prefer their fantasies, and they prefer to shriek abuse at anyone who doesn't want to join in. Why this is I do not know but they must have horrible lives, saturated with suspicion and spite.
