As soon as you see the phrase, 'join the dots', you can be sure the nutters are involved somewhere along the line - it's just about their favourite cliche.

Oh, and it would have been rather difficult for him to carry out 'crimes' there in 1964, as he was nowhere near the school until the seventies.

Excuse me if I smell rats, but there have been a few forgeries tracked down to the former alumni of that school.

I'll be honest, I've lost interest in the whole thing - the chanting in Latin business was the last straw for me.

IMO, there really IS something to be investigated at that Welsh boys' home, and one or two other places, but the whole thing has wandered so far away from that, it's just a politically-correct mess. And we are no nearer the truth. And Jimmy Savile is still dead.

Heaven knows what they actually mean, but it's way past time they stopped pushing lurid headlines and did some basic fact-checking.

Anna Raccoon has done another hatchet job on The Savile Affair. And glory be, she was actually there, not being molested by anyone, let alone Jimmy Savile.
She also stayed in the Battersea Road house, and he was never there either.

This whole thing is getting really worrying. But you can't Libel a dead man. And nor do you have to pay attention the vast researched done by Bloggers.

Such grief this is all going to come to.

It angers me that this circus/witchhunt is still going on, Sabot. Child abuse is a heinous crime, and I couldn't care less if the guilty were locked up for the rest of their lives.

But - this is, IMO, trivialising it, turning it into some kind of spectator sport for the stupid to demonstrate faux outrage about, possibly when they're doing God knows what themselves. As for the media - they KNOW many of the allegations are bogus, yet still they keep feeding the monster. Are they all terrified to stick their own heads over the parapet and say, This is rubbish?

The police should be sorting out the chaff from the wheat, instead of playing to the gallery like this.

Five possible allegations during Savile's life time. It doesn't exactly sound like a serial paedophile, does it. But then I suppose that one might wonder how those five managed to escape the cover up.

Wilfred De'Ath was arrested last year in Cambridgeshire over an allegation of indecent assault on a girl in the 60s.

But the complainant has since withdrawn her statement, said Alison Saunders, chief crown prosecutor for CPS London.

This just isn't good enough. Without this girl's statement of accusations, which she has withdrawn, there isn't enough evidence to prosecute? This stinks. He is now tarred, and no one knows who she is. This has to be "Wasting Police Time."

Pity there aren't any lurid, front page headlines about this, as there were when he was arrested.

I do slightly regret it but then it was common talk in the corridors of Broadcasting House. It was common talk that he liked young girls.

Except that this would do credit to Salem in the 17th century, or the McCarthy trials of the 1950's.

And not one single child at risk is any safer than when this witch-hunt started, and Jimmy Savile is still dead.
