And the morons seem awfully keen to talk about how upset THEY are. Personally, I don't care about them - the pair of them can sod off and spend the rest of their lives trying to atone for what they have done. Work in Calcutta slums, dig wells in Africa -anything.

That's probably one of the worst outright lies I have seen in ages. If they had done anything of the kind, the switchboard would have queried it before putting it through to Reception, unless the Edward VII has changed its privacy rules, procedures and protocols. LL

Why was it playing on a loop overnight? Because it was so hilariously funny? This is the sort of humour you expect from Pitch Forkers.

Do those morons really think hundreds of people had been phoning the hospital pretending to be the queen?

Is it beyond their comprehension that REAL media types, especially in the UK, know what the rules are with people in hospital, royal or not?

They especially know what the rules are with royals in KE 7.

Years ago, the Queen Mum got whipped into hospital in Aberdeen without any hassle. Philip was in hospital recently without any hassle.

I didn't know what the papers were carrying on about; a small, semi-military hospital should have been an ar@ehole-free area, and I simply put it down to the staff not expecting to have to deal with Aussie morons pretending to be the Queen.

Kate Hospital: No Contact Before Hoax Aired

The hospital hoaxed by two radio DJs says station bosses did not speak to any of its senior staff before broadcasting the call.

It comes after the boss of Sydney radio station 2Day FM said five attempts were made to contact London's King Edward VII's Hospital about the prank call before it aired.

"Following the hoax call, the radio station did not speak to anyone in the hospital's senior management or anyone at the company who handles our media enquiries," a hospital spokesman said.

Earlier, Rhys Holleran - head of the station's parent company Southern Cross Austereo - said he was satisfied that the appropriate checks were carried out before the pre-recorded segment was broadcast.

"It is absolutely true to say that we actually did attempt to contact those people on multiple occasions," he told Fairfax Radio, an Australian broadcaster.

"We rang them up to discuss what we had recorded ... we attempted to contact them on no less than five occasions ... we wanted to speak to them about it."

Of course they are. The KEdVII is small, I doubt its switchboard is as large as, say, The London Hospital or St George's, Hammersmith, so the calls couldn't have got 'lost', could they? No, they cocked up, good and proper, and lying their socks off isn't going to make this go away. Personally, I hope the family does not accept their 'apology' but instead demands substantial compensation for the demise of someone who was, I assume, the main breadwinner, let alone a beloved wife and mother. IMO, the pair of morons, and the station heads, will have to come to the UK and answer questions at some point. The initial coroner's report will cover the basics, so Jacinta's body can be released to her family.

But because of the circumstances, there will be a later, fuller coroner's court. I think they will have to give evidence at that? And crocodile tears and lies won't help them there.

The female moron is 30, FFS - all the woman she is ever going to be. Yet she thought it was acceptable to play 'pranks' on hospitals? She and the male moron have some very, very bad karma heading their way for this.

Also, Kate isn't very well - she doesn't have morning sickness, it is far more serious, and endangers both her and the child she is carrying. It doesn't matter what a woman's station in society is, when something like this happens in a pregnancy.

The health of The Duchess of Cambridge has worried me as well. She isn't to the manor born, and could well be more upset by this than a Royal person might be. Although I don't think that The Royal Family are uncaring. Just not entirely involved with the common people. And the last thing Kate needs to worry about at the moment is that she might be in some way responsible. She isn't, of course, but her relatively lowly birth might have motivated this appalling behaviour.

Paradoxically, if Kate had been rushed into the nearest NHS mega-hospital, there would have been security everywhere, as they would be well-used to dealing with ar@eholes.

KE VII took it for granted that people could behave decently with sick, pregnant women, and their nursing staff.

The Aussie ar@eholes demonstrated that that trust was misplaced.

Kate Hospital: Nurse's Family Pays Tribute

The family of the nurse found dead after taking a hoax call about the Duchess of Cambridge pay tribute to their "loving mother"

The family of nurse Jacintha Saldanha have thanked people for their support and messages of condolence.

Speaking on their behalf, Keith Vaz MP described Mrs Saldanha as a "loving mother and a loving wife".

"This is a close family, they are devastated by what has happened, they miss her every moment of every day," he said, as he stood beside Mrs Saldanha's husband Benedict Barboza and her two teenage children.

"They are really grateful for the support of the British public and the public overseas for the messages of support and kindness," he added.

The post-mortem for the nurse, who put through a hoax call made about the Duchess of Cambridge's medical condition, will take place on Tuesday.

Mrs Saldanha took the initial call from Australian DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian who posed as the Queen and the Prince of Wales when they rang the hospital where Kate was being treated for acute morning sickness.

Believing it to be genuine, she put the call through to another colleague who was duped into describing the duchess' condition in detail.

Mrs Saldanha was found dead days later, having apparently taken her own life.

Her post-mortem will take place at Westminster Mortuary.

Prime Minister David Cameron spoke of his "shock" at Mrs Saldanha's death.

He said: "I thought it was completely shocking ... I heard about the suicide of this nurse, who worked incredibly hard and obviously was incredibly dedicated.

"I feel incredibly sorry for her and her family. It is an absolute tragedy that this has happened and I am sure everyone will want to reflect on how it was allowed to happen."

I watched that, and found the pair of them totally insincere. Lots of crocodile tears from the female moron, but no apologies for what they did. They haven't even resigned from their jobs.
