Scandal erupts around Bennett

Pity this hadn't come out before Leveson, isn't it? I am sure we would all have loved to see Bennett hauled in there to explain his shilling.

Anyone who still brown-noses him after this should be sectioned. What else has he done that hasn't - yet - been revealed? Has he been taking money from elsewhere to smear and harrass people?

He's wasting his time trying to divert attention by pitchforking the Sandyhook victims and their familes.

All that faux-outrage about NI - when he'd taken money from them to smear Barrymore.

Which makes him a hypocrite on a grand scale, as well as a shill.

Now, who does this remind us of?

I have, over the years, often wondered about how he managed to live, I mean with visits abroad etc. He claims he is just an OAP, but I have always had my doubts about that. I can afford trips abroad, at least 3/5 a year, plus all the perks of having enough cash to indulge myself, but all he does is cry poverty. If he has been accepting financial remuneration at the same time as begging for stamps .... LL

Agree, Tony - and I suspect he is also in deep, deep trouble. If NI paid him thousands of pounds via the Trust (and isn't that money-laundering?) in good faith, and it can be proven Bennett altered witness statements, made up sh*t, and did his usual sloppy job, then they may well be looking for that money back?

Paul Coxwell appears to know a great deal about Bennett's squalid arrangements, and he isn't impressed by Head Hounder.

IMO, there is a great deal more about Bennett's dirty dealings to come out yet - but how can ANYONE support him now?

1. He took money in return for his efforts to destroy someone; only yesterday, he was libellously accusing people of heinous crimes.

2. He has been ranting about NI for some time now; that has been shown up as rank, sickening hypocrisy, as he took thousands of pounds from NI.

Time Bennett left the stage, methinks.

I see no supporters appearing to help him - have the ignoramuses jumped ship? I do hope so. LL

Can't you just picture Bennett, sniffing out the grief and bewilderment of the Lubbock family, like a vulture sensing carrion?

What's the betting he presented himself to them as the ever-so-respectable, helpful, retired local solicitor? They found out the hard way what he's really like, but not before he'd exploited them to the max.

No doubt he 'interpreted' legal documents for them, the way he 'interprets' witness statements in the McCann case - ie, twisted them out of all recognition.

And it wouldn't help that he doesn't understand simple English phrases like, the only assumption. God knows what poison he whispered in their ears.

This sums Bennett up perfectly.

I don't know for sure, LL. I do know all relevant information about the Vampire's sicko activities is being passed to him.

I actually don't have the words to express the contempt I feel for the creature, Tony. Even I never dreamed he could have done something as scummy as that - and for him to announce it yesterday, as if it was the most normal thing in the world?

If Bennett has an ounce of sense left he will shut the hell up.
The guy Barrymore can now sue Bennett for libel because of the failed solicitor's renewed attempt to libel the entertainer.
However, my main concern is for the father of the young man who died. I cannot begin to imagine how Bennett's action may be affecting him right now!

The only place anything like that happened was in Bennett's filthy head, wasn't it? I feel so, so sorry for the Lubbock family, having Bennett's obscene imaginings filling his mind.

Bennett invented the whole thing - so what does that say about Bennett? Here's hoping Bennett is hauled into a CRIMINAL court to answer for what he's done before much longer.
