Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
If I was the Judge, I would make damned sure Bennett's Internet was disconnected for ever.

Since The Hounders think it all went rather well they won't be able to shriek about The Judgement being unfair. Will they?

Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
It's going to be hilarious - the hounders seem to have as many 'legal experts' as they do 'ex-policemen', suddenly.
Boy, are they in for a few nasty shocks when they hear the truth.

Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
how is this for thick as fook forker mentality?
isn't the whole POINT of an age progression pic that it will be used wherever possible to garner publicity for the abducted child. Def a care in the community is old Jilly Never Comes.
@zante03 Have you had written permission from Teri Blythe to use that picture as your avatar? #WrittenPermissionRequired #McCann

Hi all
I saw a tweet about Mr Bennett and navigated my way here to see what’s going on [terrific forum for information by the way]. I’m shocked but not surprised at the latest news. I was interested in this case years ago but threw in the towel because the PR manipulation, political interference and sycophantic media became more than I could stomach. Though it’s a bit late in the day I joined up today to send my good wishes to Mr Bennett and hope all goes well for him. I tried to do so yesterday but eventually had to give up because the forum was overloaded or something. Mr Bennett is the only one in the UK who has had the guts to take this lot on and he deserves the utmost respect for putting himself on the line in an attempt to expose the obvious [to most of us] corruption in this case. The Maddie case is a crucial matter of public interest, not only because of the missing child but for a multitude of other important reasons. This was most definitely a job for the media but it failed dismally in its duty.
British Justice = Loads of Dosh. Sad but true.
Cheers

I expect no-one realised the whole thing could be viewed on webcam when the socks were given their scripts, Lily.

Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
So, what happened to the 'thousands of supporters'? You would have thought at least one or two of them would have hung around to support the Dear Leader when he was being interviewed for the telly? Held his trolley for him, or something?

Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
They are all much too scared to show their faces, Bonny. They all hid in the Toilets before the case started.
This was their chance to stand up with Bennett and be counted. What a bunch of no name cowards.

Not so fast, Sabot. There was a list of 17 pages which Bennett handed over, remember?

Hi Nina, I didn't get much chance to see Tony afterwards as I had to rush off. He seemed very tired which is to be expected
Yes, he looked very tired and depressed, even on the webcam. Oh, I hope that wasn't why the trollseeker really rushed off....she didn't want viewers to see her with him?
Bennett was told off by the judge rather a lot, wasn't he? And fancy him trying to make out haverns was only a small site, when usually, he's never done boasting about their thousands of members!
And - OH MY GOD!
Yet again, he claimed Clarence Mitchell said abduction was 'only an assumption'!
Bennett stood in the dock and LIED! I can see Judge Tugendhat throwing the book at him for that.

Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
And he actually stood in the High Court and claimed that because named police officers, public officials, authors, books, youtube videos and websites were libelling the McCanns, it was OK for him to do it?
I am not surprised events were cut short - did he forget he signed a legal agreement NOT to do it?
No wonder the judge had to keep rebuking him!

Now just a cotton pickin' minute here, did the above mentioned sign an undertaking not to libel the McCanns?bb1 wrote:And he actually stood in the High Court and claimed that because named police officers, public officials, authors, books, youtube videos and websites were libelling the McCanns, it was OK for him to do it?

Oops, I forgot, only Bennett signed one of those.

Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
How many times did the judge have to tell him off today, Tony? Ten? A dozen? More? Did Bennett even grasp why he was in the dock, and that this was about HIM, no-one else?

Re: BENNETT GETS HIS DAY IN COURT
You know Bonny, those Bentites must really live very dire lives if they think today was a good day for Bennet. He didn't even know the rules of law today in court, he had to be reminded of them. I thought he had once been a solicitor?bb1 wrote:How many times did the judge have to tell him off today, Tony? Ten? A dozen? More?
