Sane people remark that most discussions about Madeleine McCann's disappearance simply go round and round in circles, going over ancient ground interminably.

Quite seriously, I suspect many of them are mentally ill, Greenink. It simply is not normal, or acceptable, to spend your every waking moment fantasising about a missing child's funeral, as Hideho frequently boasts about.

The grotesque, often obscene, fantasies the McCann-haters project onto Madeleine's family say all that is needed about what's going on in their minds.

A perfect example of how LITTLE the McCann-haters grasp the contents of the police files - a forker asks:

And the fact that is the insane theory which Amaral (who knew all about the press and the nature of PDL) came up with and ran with says a great deal about the mental state of the person the PJ chose to co-ordinate this case. At least he was removed when his big mouth proved even too much for the more senior officers.

I do wonder if the real reason Portugal would like the McCann case to go away is that a proper investigation is going to show just how incompetent Amaral was, Greenink, and fear of the possible effect that is going to have in other cases he was involved in.

After all, if Portugal - or Amaral - had the slightest shred of evidence against the McCanns, it would have been shouted from the rooftops long ago, to save blushes, if nothing else.

Exactly, this smoking gun/ace which he was hiding up his sleeve would have been produced long before now. Why would he suffer the ignominy of being shown up to be a complete failure and liar if he could simply wave a card and prove his case? Anyone who is relying on Amaral to provide the solution is more insane than the incompetent cop himself.

And where is Joana Morais? Not a peep from her or from Levy that I have seen recently. And both were such devoted fans of Amaral? Surely one or two of the less rabid anti McCanns must deep in their hearts be wondering where those two have disappeared to and more importantly WHY they have disappeared?

Morais and Levy are not stupid enough to think that they can continue their deceptions, with SY on the case, are they?
