It's a very good ad campaign, though bizarre....I speak as one with several meerkats as thanking for knowing difference. Customers get emails from Meerkovo, too....

Does anyone know why the Amaral cult insist that all flip-flops are noisy? Because they aren't. That lot no doubt think those cheap rubber ones that are meant for the beach are the height of fashion, but better quality ones make very little noise at all.

Though I don't suppose it actually matters what they think, as their one reason for existing is to abuse the McCann family, and flip-flops are as good an excuse as any.

Bonny, it's very true. Cheap flip flops do make a noise but the better ones don't. They do show their ignorance at every turn.  

Personally, I wouldn't be seen dead in Flip Flops. But that's just me. I would rather be bare foot. But I have no idea if cheap Flip Flops make a noise. I suspect that it might depend on the state of your feet.

Done all that, Lily, in singapore. The soles of my feet were like leather. But the ice cream man always had a piece of cardboard if you had to stand still for too long.
I am now back into "Grounding" and putting my bare feet to God's good earth. Something to do with negative ions. And the soles of my feet are now toughening up again. Not that it matters, But I never was crazy about shoes. All of my children ran bare foot, until civilisation caught up with them.

I do prefer going barefoot, Sabot, and always have. I wish my feet were more hardened....

You just have to keep at it, Lily. It doesn't take very long. Just the first couple of weeks are difficult. I am just sorry that I ever stopped doing it.

And now they have got this one. Good for them. But they had to have the shit to get to the real thing.
