Re: Jeremy Forrest: Schoolgirl Speaks Of 'Crush'
I am having trouble getting my head around this. Pontificating about The Law is not going to solve it, no matter what The Law says.
The Judge had her arrested because she refused to give evidence. What was he going to do with her if she had persisted in refusing. Send her to prison for Contempt of Court?
As it is, she saw the advantage of testifying, although it didn't do Jeremy Forest much good at the time. But boy oh boy is she milking it now. "Vulnerable school girl is forced to testify against her will."
And doesn't it ever put the lie to someone coaching her when in fact she refused and was then intimidated.
I think she should take Degree in Law. She is a natural.

Re: Jeremy Forrest: Schoolgirl Speaks Of 'Crush'
IMO, she needs a good human rights lawyer, Sabot, there's something very stinky about the whole thing. Right now, it looks as if any 'grooming' was being done by the police, DPP, etc.
It looks like the whole gang of them were quite prepared to use intimidation to get her to do as they wanted, to make sure she stuck to the script.
Arresting her at school? Hello? Whatever happened to listening to the victim, and all that bien-pensant claptrap? They clearly weren't listening to this 'victim'.
A politically-correct show trial is still a show trial.

Re: Jeremy Forrest: Schoolgirl Speaks Of 'Crush'
The saga continues:
Jailed teacher Jeremy Forrest moved 180 miles away from pupil he abducted after schoolgirl bombards prison with demands to see him
Student, 16, has repeatedly tried to get visitor rights to see sex offender
He has now been moved to a prison near Bristol, 179 miles away
She sent him a letter saying she will 'wait for him' to be released

The transfer is likely to scupper any chances of his victim, who is now 16 and studying for her A-levels, meeting him face to face before his release, expected to be in 2015.
Well done, Experts. You've just guaranteed that when he gets out in a couple of years, they are going to go off together.
She'll legally be an adult then, so any further meddling by Experts really is going to look like petty revenge.
