the proof of that is that England have a Queen, also have a Prime-Minister.

She's actually head of state of a huge number of nations, Pedro, as will be demonstrated at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland next year; it's not perfect, but it does help towards stability and democracy, IMO.

There you go, you see. Everybody secretly wanted her to have a boy. They were just kidding when they went off on a girl thing because no one wanted her to feel as though she had let the side down.
Grossly unfair of course, and I'm a girl, but then no one knows better than I about what a disappointment I was.

No, everyone would have cheered just the same if it had been a girl, as there fewer girls in the royals - think of all the past royals who would have been delighted with an excess of boys.

It's been an eye-opener, seeing the carping, whining and complaining that's been coming from the McCann-haters this evening.

It suggests that it isn't just the McCanns they hate; they just cannot bear seeing other people happy, and want to inflict their own misery onto everyone else.

All that bile can't be good for them.

Was so thrilled to see that last night.  Am so happy for all of them.  I think that both William and Kate will make excellent parents and in that regard, it makes the boy even more blessed.

Can't wait to see the photos of them on the steps.

Did not want to defile my previous post with the haters' upset.

Faithlilly is hilarious. She is upset because her taxes will be supporting the new baby. She should not be so upset, the amount is merely a few pence per year but I wonder how much she contributes to some of her fellow haters?  

Again, this is sheer jealousy because some people have much more than they do. Life is not equal no matter what anyone says.
