Lisbon trial - Gonc wants closed court, private hearing

It looks like it, Tony - he may as well throw the towel in now, all that's missing is a sign saying, Loser. What a mess!

From what Brunt's just said on Sky, Gonc's attempt to have the case heard in camera was some kind of last-minute stunt.

Oh, and Gonc and his lawyer refused to speak to the media outside the court.

Nope, no sightings of the fabled Ace. Which is odd, Gonc could have produced it this morning and saved everyone the trouble of going to court.

Mind you, he could have produced it at any time within the last six years, but didn't.

How utterly disrespectful to The Court.

Isn't it just, Sabot? Doesn't bother to put clean clothes on, doesn't bother to wear a tie, never mind a decent suit, messes the court around with last-minute demands for secrecy - total disrespect.

the court, the judges will not like that type of dress, which shows the disrespect that gonçalo amaral have for the court, for the judges, also disrespect for everyone in that room.

It's shocking, Pedro, but at least the court will have no doubt about what kind of creature he is.

Quite; nothing like hole-in-corner courts that don't notify opposing counsel that they're sitting to get your own way. Good for Ms Duarte for demanding that these hearings be open to the media after that shoddy, secretive stitch-up.

The sheer desperation shown by anti McCann scum on Twitter today exceeds their usual stupidity.

They think everyone who fails to agree that this chap who turned up to the trial of his life in a scruffy open shirt and jeans and is God's gift to humanity, is a troll.

They have blinded themselves to the fact that the trolls are the people on Twitter who make claims with no proof, who post obscenity without compunction and who prove the damage caused by this disgraced ex cop every time they put fingers to keyboards. They forget that the only trolls ever mentioned in this case in the media have been their own colleagues.

They are in for a rude awakening. Though most are so stupid they probably won't even realise when it happens.

And their hiding their heads in the sand over the disappearance of the greatest living Goncalo Amaral fan, Joana Morais, from the world of McCann is the most amusing failure of all on their part. They can't even acknowledge it and they clearly can't understand it but they have to simply brush it off as irrelevant. What foolishness?
