Katy Starr If new patsy is "plausible", then it will help Amaral in the libel case, since he can say that G&K suppresed the evidence about the person seen by Smiths, and hindered the search for Madeleine thenselves. ie If it was this OC ex employee, by suppressing it they prevented him being caught while alive and prevented him telling them what he had done with her. After the libel case the police can rule him out again. Three police forces cannot be that stupid.

If there's any truth in this, then Gonc is for the high jump and may well end up in jail.

But yet again it flags up the mobile phone records, which have been mentioned numerous time in the past few weeks.
I think TM thought they were home and dry on that aspect, having deleted records fro their own phones, and then the judge refusing to allow the records to be used as primary evidence during the investigation.
But now, after Kiko and others have supplied detailed analyses both to Sy and PJ, they may have got something.

But full time farmers do not live in flats in Lagos, and nor do they need a job at The Ocean Club.

But he is far more likely to have sold Madeleine if he needed the money. So I am sticking with that.

Yep, I do feel sorry for his widow. But he was hardly a saint in the first place. And that bloody disgrace, Amaral, should have discovered all of this at a time when it mattered.

I would suggest this 'leak' has come from a non-police source, possibly the dead man's family. For all anyone knows, they are far from being in mourning for him, and see no reason to go on covering up for him?
