It was beautiful 30 years ago, Sabot.  I remember there were different districts according to ethnicity?  I know I went into a mosque, went through the Chinese quarter and the Indian one too.

It's always been suspected that Lockerbie was a retaliation for that.

Now, if someone has shot down an airliner from a Moslem country, full of Chinese citizens and others? It doesn't bear thinking about.

Indeed. I had forgotten about the importance of Straight Born Chinese. They generally keep a low prophile but there are vast numbers of them, and they do owe ancient allegiance to China. They all know from what Chinese province their families come, and they still speak the same dialect. Or they did when I was there.
They are the heart of a hard working economy. The Malays were generally pretty idle, being Sons of The Soil.

All I can say is that someone somewhere does the decent thing and lets at least the passengers go. if the plane is there.

Hmm. Don't think it quite works, as the two accidents mentioned both send out distress messages. I can't imagine what would be so catastrophic it stopped the pilot sending out an emergency call, but let the plane keep flying for hours.

If they were overcome by smoke as they couldn't use the oxygen in a fire?  They are taught aviate, navigate, communicate?

It's such a strange situation with some many possibilities. I just don't know how the people waiting to hear about loved ones are coping.

I don't know if you've had a chance to see those appalling scenes at the supposed press conference, Lily? I really could not believe what I was seeing, the missing passengers' relatives being manhandled like that.

All it did was convince me, and millions of other viewers worldwide, that we're being lied to.

No I haven't seen any yet Bonny. However last night I was thinking that. What on earth have they been covering up? Is this gross incompetence added to the picture or what?

Video there - Kay Birley from Sky seemed to be caught in the middle of it. I was watching it live; she was blazing angry.

Thank you for the link and I've watched the videos. This is shocking truly shocking. It's like a rugby scrum gone bad.

I can't even begin to guess which country it was, they are telling too many contradictory stories.

It will all become clear eventually.

I can't recall anything like this happening before, Lily. At one point today, I found myself wondering, Did the plane hit a drone?

Then realised how stupid that was; not only virtually impossible, but the transponders wouldn't have been turned off....D'uh.

Bonny, it does get a person thinking of all kinds of weird things...... who knows? Have stopped theorizing for the time being....

My mind keeps playing with idea that it vanished through a time warp and will be found on some remote runway with the passengers still alive and unaged in 50 years time.
