So, what or who is travelling and relocating from Diego Garcia?

Will be interesting to see what the official story is?

I've had to invest in a tin hat with all this plane malarky. I'm trying not to go down the pitchforking route though.

Re: Malaysia Airlines plane vanishes over Vietnam
I think most of the world is wearing tinfoil hats over the plane's disappearance, Rhodes. Right now, the only thing that makes perfect sense is Sucked through space/time portal into alternate dimension.
That explains everything perfectly. Nothing we've been told officially does.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/malaysia/10747140/Malaysia-Airlines-Chinese-ship-may-have-found-signs-of-MH370.html
A reporter with the Chinese state broadcaster, CCTV, who is on board Haixun, said the ship had first picked up the signal on Friday, when pings were detected intermittently for about 15 minutes. But other vessels were in the vicinity, raising the possibility that they might have been the source.
Haixun then heard the signal again on Saturday, when the pings were picked up every second for 90 seconds.
Xinhua, the official Chinese news agency, cautioned there was still no confirmation of any link with the "missing Malaysian passenger jet". Haixun had reported hearing the "pulse signal" and was conducting further investigations, added Xinhua.
Why am I not surprised?

That's the thread I meant to put it on. Silly woman, me.

http://news.sky.com/story/1238723/hunt-for-mh370-pings-delays-sub-launch
An Australian ship has been unable to re-locate the signals, or 'pings', first heard at the weekend in its search for the black box of flight MH370.
Search coordinators say they will continue to trawl the Indian Ocean for several days before they consider sending down a mini submarine to investigate.
The Australian ship Ocean Shield picked up the pinging sound twice, on Saturday and Sunday, but has since been unable to hear it again.
What a surprise.

U.N. Says It Detected No Crash or Explosion
Sensitive nuclear monitoring equipment has found no evidence that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 exploded or crashed, the U.N. said Monday.
While seismic systems used by the Vienna-based Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization are intended to detect nuclear explosions, they're also capable of picking up "the explosion of a larger aircraft, as well as its impact on the ground or on water," Stephane Dujarric, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's spokesman, told reporters in New York.
But tests over the weekend had confirmed that "neither an explosion nor a plane crash on land or on water had been detected so far," Dujarric said Monday.
The organization's executive secretary ordered that all its sensors be used to try to find the plane, and he encouraged scientists from around the world to "carefully study the available data," Dujarric said.
We're going to need more tinfoil hats.

My friends, this was taken from Correio da manhã newspaper:

Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia
Co - pilot of the flight from Malaysia tried to call just before disappearance
The co-pilot of the flight MH370 Malaysia Airlines tried to make a call from his mobile phone just before the plane disappeared from radar .
The New Straits Times ( NST ) news told on Saturday that the call was cut " perhaps because the plane have gone off the radar telecommunications ," but does not specify his destination.
The same paper also explains that the cellphoneof Fariq Abdul Hamid was again connected to the network , but do not know if it was a phone call made from inside the Boeing 777 , which disappeared on March 8 .
The connection was " restored " from the moment the plane deviates from the route and that moment he disappeared from the radar screens , reports the newspaper, controlled by the government , citing the second source . " A reconnection does not necessarily mean that a call was made . Could also be the result of the reset of the phone ," a source told to the Malaysian newspaper.
The plane that made the connection flight MH370 will have flown fairly low area of Penang Island on the west coast of Malaysia , after changing course to an area Radar telecommunications that captured the signal from the phone co - pilot.
The Ministry of Transport of Malaysia told AFP news agency that examined the information and said that the newspaper will publish a response .
The attention of researchers has focused on the captain , Zaharie Ahmad Shah , 53 , and his co-driver , Abdul Hamid Fariq , 27 years after the plane that made the link between Kuala Lumpur and Beijing , have disappeared with 239 people on board . But the investigation found no suspicious events in their lives.

Re: Malaysia Airlines plane vanishes over Vietnam
The fruitless search for the missing Malaysian Airlines jet might have to start all over again from scratch if no clues to its fate are found in coming days, it was claimed today.
The international team searching the Indian Ocean for the Boeing 777 are now considering the seemingly impossible scenario of the aircraft having 'landed' somewhere, instead of crashing in the southern Indian Ocean.
'We may have to regroup soon to look into this possibility if no positive results come back in the next few days,' sources within the International Investigation Team were quoted as telling the New Straits Times today.

Re: Malaysia Airlines plane vanishes over Vietnam
Yes, they're bound to have. After all, what are the odds that a missing airliner, last seen heading in the general direction of a secretive military base with long runways, would be at that base?
Nah, no point in looking there, that's too silly.

Whatever they come up with, no-one's going to believe it, Lily. Like most of the human race, I simply do not believe a huge modern plane, bristling with technology, carrying over 200 people, can vanish without trace.
