Incidentally, it would be foolish for anyone to take Portuguese reports from Sources in the Investigation, seriously, especially once they've been through the Morais spin cycle.

The PJ has said nothing officially; neither has Scotland Yard. So until they do, anything emanating from Sources in Portugal should be treated as just as big a load of bollox as it was seven years ago.

Especially anything that has even a whiff of eau du Gonzo.

Shouldn't Source be getting his latest new lawyer up to speed, or inventing a new excuse to delay his trial?

The Yard, and the PJ, have made it clear they will NOT be issuing a running commentary. Anything from Sources close to the Investigation is invention, distortion, and carefully-spun tittle-tattle, from the very same people that were doing it seven years ago.

Sources has only one aim - to smear Scotland Yard and the McCanns. Just as Sources had seven years ago.

You know, it's a great pity Malinka was so engrossed with the telly, or playing online games or whatever, at the time Madeleine was abducted.

If he'd looked out his window, he might even have seen whoever the Smith family saw carrying a child in the street outside.
