Quite, LL, and I have a feeling there is more to this squalid tale than just sex. Which is why I question if anything resembling the truth is going to come out.

As there are in France, LL. But attention is paid to the ability of the person in question to give consent, and their reasons for doing so.

Frankly, I suspect the whole setup was a Mossad honeytrap, and has been used to blackmail powerful men for years. Looks like they forgot to pay one or two enough to keep quite, or threaten them sufficiently. Which is why I suspect we will never hear the actual truth, just lurid headlines.

A US lawyer says he is planning legal action against a woman who claims she was forced to have sex with him and Prince Andrew when she was a minor.

Alan Dershowitz told the BBC he wanted her claims to be made under oath.

He and the Duke of York were named in documents filed in a Florida court over how prosecutors handled a case against financier Jeffrey Epstein.

"So I think it must be presumed all her allegations against Prince Andrew were false as well," he told the programme.

I would say so, Bonny. However he may only get a chance of doing that if he gets the woman inside a court room? There could also be a chance that the female might back down......

It's a staggering allegation to make if it simply isn't true, Lily, and could be very damaging indeed. Something dodgy and sordid has been going on - Epstein's conviction is proof of that. But any chance of the truth ever coming out will be lost forever if this woman is making totally false allegations.

I doubt if we will ever know the truth but if that woman is caught out lying then heaven help her......

It's the people involved, Sabot, and who has been running the show - and why. I doubt if it was just for money. As for Ms Maxwell - that apple didn't fall far from the tree.
