At least there is no doubt about what Russia's motives are for lending Syria a bit of muscle.

1. Supporting their ally Assad, who is very much the lesser of the evils.

2. Smashing ISIS.

What Washington is playing at, I have NO idea, as the US has the firepower to wipe out ISIS many times over. If they actually wanted to, of course...

That might also depend on who the next President is s to whether that will happen.    I hate to say it but I do believe that war with Iran is inevitable. 

That would be an act of the utmost folly by the US, IMO, Lily. Iran is a powerful nation these days, with powerful allies, like China and Russia. And none of these three nations have a military obsessed with gender equality, etc. Neither have they been overrun by 'migrants' draining resources. They don't have Free Sh*t Armies demanding to be fed and housed, either.

I don't think it would happen in the next few months or so, Bonny, but in time.  Have been listening to politicians addressing the current problem with the Obama/Kerry deal.  Not good.

My own personal view, from what I've seen is that Trump is the best bet for avoiding conflict. He's very much an Alpha male, and can speak to ayatollahs, Russians, etc., at their level, and be respected. He also doesn't seem like the type to sh*t-stir for complicated political reasons.

A bit like Nixon being the only person who could go to China?

I really do hope so, Bonny.  This so called Kerry 'deal' would be horrendous if it goes through.

Does anyone even understand what the 'Kerry deal' is? I confess, I don't.

I just can't work out the Iran deal, Lily. Obama is joined at the hip to the Saudis, and the Saudis and Iran hate each other, indeed are conducting a proxy war in Yemen. So it doesn't make sense at many, many levels....

From what I can make out, many Germans - like many other Europeans - are absolutely furious at what Merkel has done, but they are being silenced by all these feelgood photo ops of cute kiddies swapping sweets, banners with balloons, etc. It's just a matter of time before there is real trouble - more than there has been already, Merkel is very quiet about all those 'refugee centres' that have been burned down.

Setting aside what is happening in Europe - how many people have left the comparative safety of the established camps, only to die en route, because Merkel has led them to think that Europe is wide open and waiting to welcome them?

You are right, Bonny.  This will end very badly.

I am finding it astounding just how out of touch the left-wing political elite are with the plebs, Lily, they seem to have NO idea what is going on. They seem to think they can quell unrest with carefully-posed photoshoots.

Meanwhile, us European plebs are wondering when we voted for the German Chancellor and the ex-prime minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to run our lives.

It's not just in Europe either, Bonny.  They are just like that here so I know what you mean.  They do have the media backing them of course, but even so.  People here are turning as they are in Europe.  So that is good at least?

I guess we all overslept on the days when they were elected, Bonny.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of 9/ll; I just hope there is no 'spectacular' from the jihadists, or all Hell is liable to break loose.

Just think how all these moslem 'migrants' would be being regarded if the train massacre hadn't been foiled....

Doesn't surprise me in the least - it explains why he had the only lifebelt, among other things.

It also explains why he has gone back to Kobane, the town he supposedly fled from in fear of his life. He's out of reach of charges of manslaughter and human trafficking.

The Roma have been hanging around for a while now, courtesy of the EU, and many of them are simply a pain in the ar@e. They aren't like the other Eastern European migrants, the Poles, Estonians, etc - and they give actual Romanians a bad name, unfairly.

That video of the rioting migrants in Italy a couple of years back is one of the worst I've seen, Lily, and I feel heartbroken for the locals, seeing their lovely town destroyed by that trash.

With all solidarity to people in difficult circumstances I have to say that what I saw arouses horror.This huge mass of people – sorry – but it’s an absolute wilderness … Vulgar, throwing bottles, shouting “We want Germany”. So what, Germany is now a paradise?

I saw an elderly Italian woman in a car that was surrounded by the immigrants. They pulled her by the hair out of the car and wanted to use it to go to Germany. They tried to topple the bus i was in. They threw feces at us, banging on the door for the driver to open it, spat on the glass. My question is- for what purpose? How do they want to assimilate in Germany? For a moment, i felt like in a warzone. I really feel sorry for these people, but if they would reach Poland – I do not think they would receive any understanding from us.

We spent three hours on the border, but failed to get through. The whole group was later transported back to Italy by the police. The bus is butchered, feces smeared, scratched, broken windows. And this is supposed to be an idea for the demographics? These big powerful hordes?

Bonny, that is probably just a taste of what lies ahead.   Heaven help everyone if this spreads more and more. They are not behaving like humans but savages. 

Wish they could battle Isis to get rid of their massive anger.
