I think he is a wonderful man but sometimes people in his position should not get so political

I think he should pay more attention to the 'rendering unto Caesar' bit, personally. I had the unpleasant feeling he was trying to fit in with what is currently politically correct, rather than more unearthly matters....

I don't have an answer to that bonny. I have already made sure that my property in Vienna is safe - we have a retired policeman as concierge, we also checked our other properties in Germany and made sure they are okay. LL

Well, that is it, Bonny. Immigration and climate change are big items he is pushing. I find that annoying beyond belief and yet I don't want to feel that way about him.

Odd thing is, with John Paul II, even to a sceptic like me, he gave every impression of following a higher power than that dictated by current politics; I don't get that feeling from Frances at all.

The international media “presents a one-sided image of Hungarian events and measures” in connection with the migration crisis, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó told the BBC in an interview. Szijjártó said in a Hardtalk interview that “migrants had been pelting stones and chunks of concrete at Hungarian police for hours, causing injuries”, before water cannon and tear gas was used to stop them at the Röszke border crossing between Hungary and Serbia last week. He said it was wrong that the reports only showed Hungarian police using tear gas without showing the reason why. It can be clearly felt that an international media campaign is under way against Hungary, he added.

He rejected the interpretation of the Hungarian government’s policies according to which only Christian refugees are welcome and Muslims are seen as a threat. “No, it’s not true. It’s simply not true. If someone is a refugee, we give him or her shelter; that’s what we have been doing”, he said.

MUNICH, Germany -- A Berlin-based company has refused to deliver razor wire to Hungary -- a decision causing it to lose a lot of money.

I am sure China won't be so picky - probably cheaper, too, in bulk, as razor wire seems to in growing demand in Europe.

I am afraid I find these pampered lefty elitists, who never, ever have to suffer the consequences of the social chaos and ruined lives their stupidity causes, beneath contempt.
