Hungary is new hot spot on migrant route into EU - Part 1

I cannot remember where, Lily, but I saw one commentator pointing out that people of different ethnicity can rub along together in a perfectly civilised fashion.

But people of totally different belief systems simply cannot, especially when the invading belief system insists on imposing itself on its hosts.

There is no problem with followers of moderate Islam - such as President Assad, who regards protecting other faiths as both a virtue and a responsibility.

There is a HUGE problem with these predominantly sunni fanatics pouring into Europe, and bringing their backward, intolerant, near-fascist belief system with them.

That makes total sense when you think about it.

That should go down well with the 'migrants'.

It will go down better with the people of the UK?

I don't believe her story, LL. More than a million Syrians are displaced within their own country, and Damascus is still functioning as a metropolis. The food shops and markets are well supplied, etc. It's not good, but it isn't in ruins. See the video I posted further up thread.

The west, IMO, needs to be taking a closer look at these tales of woe.

I don't know if she is lying or not, I therefore cannot comment on the article. Someone must have believed her as she did get the asylum visa. LL

I am afraid I am rapidly running out of sympathy, LL, especially when I read things like this:

The transit center where they ended up in the Paris suburb of Creteil was "disappointing," with tiny, old rooms, collective kitchens and bathrooms.

Nice for them that they've now got public housing in Brittany that meets with their approval.

The immigration ministry will be one of the most legislatively busy in Denmark this parliament, with 17 legal changes put forward to make it tougher for foreigners to get citizenship.

We can never cope with a mass migration that is borne upon the desire for a better life, regardless of how understandable that desire is”.

The only thing 'bizarre' is that they have to be told how to behave in normal society.

I've seen people stating. Oh, but Britain took in Jewish refugees in the 30s, and Hungarians in the 50s - which entirely misses the point.

Those people - genuine refugees at that - came from similar cultural backgrounds, and didn't expect US to change to suit THEM.

People who have to be told not to steal, not to abuse women, and how to use toilets, are worlds apart and do NOT integrate - the ghettos round several European cities are testimony to that.

Can you imagine the uproar when they get told, No, you're not getting to stay in Europe and leech off the taxpayers, you're getting deported to a camp. In Africa.

It will be their own faults?

Facing their toughest refugee emergency since World War II, the 28 EU nations committed to speed up and intensify the deportation of people who do not qualify for asylum, including more special flights out and detention for those who might slip into illegal residence.

I have NO idea how their now-reluctant hosts are going to remove these people without the use of force, LL. They were promised the land of easy living and milk and honey in Germany, not a one-way ticket to a detention camp in Africa.

What happens when some 'migrant' turns up with a pregnant fourteen year old 'wife' in tow.

Arresting him for child abuse works for me.....this is Europe, and these 'migrants' need to be reminded of that and live by OUR laws.

But isn't that what they want?  To happily abide by your laws?

And so I ask, where are all those greeters and receivers from the train stations? Sitting pretty at home, enjoying their non-profits and looking forward to more trains and their next batch of cash from acting like greeters at the stations.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if they were being paid, frankly.

I saw a report from one of the centres in Europe earlier today, with 'migrants' complaining about the conditions. No prizes for guessing what they'd done to the toilets, filthy pigs.
