It's always fascinating to see just how stupid and gullible people can be. After all, who in their right minds gives money to a serial loser and liar like Gonzo?

I confess to finding it fascinating that it never occurs to any of the McCann-haters to wonder why Gonzo has so little support in Portugal outside his own small circle - and even that is shrinking, with so many of his chums now awaiting trial on various charges, or held in custody for the safety of the public.

You would think, being such fantastic armchair defectives, they would be able to work it out for themselves that he's a wrong 'un, and Portuguese people know it.

That seems to be beyond them, though.

Of course it is because it proves their woeful lack of intelligence.   

Hello all. I've been on holiday and returned late last night. I am catching up with this news. I am delighted that justice has been done and Kate and Gerry have won their case against Amaral. So pleased he has been seen for what he is.

It's amazing how an obvious legal victory for Kate and Gerry can quickly be spun to be merely a blip in Amaral's continued glorious battle for justice. Eejits they are.

He doesn't seem to have much grounds for appeal as it stands, Erngath. He was a Police Officer who used privileged information. And he did deny The McCanns the presumption on innocence, which is obviously why Isobel Duarte made a bit of a song and dance about his book being published just three days after Secrecy was lifted and The Files were released.
I always hoped that she knew what she was doing. Sometimes the apparent irrelevancies get overlooked. But she certainly got it right.

Oh goodie, must go and buy a copy. And one hopes that the gloves are indeed off, and the media is going to show the world what the McCanns have had to put up with from deranged, hate-filled Amaral supporters.

You know how the haters have frequently stated that the press are sitting on a mountain of articles and are only waiting for the moment to unleash them?  Do you think it's started with the Sun?

From what I'm reading right now - YES!

Did they really, really think that they could abuse, harrass and threaten every reporter that failed to toe the Gonzo line - for years - and there would never be a day of reckoning?

Tick tock, the tide has turned and the floodgates are opening.
