How typical that the anti McCann fools got the whole gist of the latest hearings wrong because they were so blinded by the hatred they have in themselves for the parents of a missing child that they believed the complete rubbish spouted by the liar who pretended she was reporting the court case accurately?

How typical of the anti McCanns that gibbering idiots like Winnower and JillyCL are still unable to see what absolute MUGS they are for getting taken in by the publicity machine that followed Amaral?

And how typical that when the chips are down for their saintly hero, people like the blubbering (and blubbery) Joana Morais simply run away. Cowards and charlatans or fools and sheep. That is the structure of the Amaral fan club and it is falling apart as we watch.

Not a shred of intelligence left among them. Riddled with obscene freaks, wind up merchants like that US drug guzzling surfer, and morons who believe whatever they are told just so long as it fits their sick fantasies.

This was always on the cards because the truth was obvious about the lies which Amaral told and in particular because as I have made clear for years now the most telling fact about his book was that it was written while he was a serving police officer. He broke every rule in the book and JillyCL and Winnower know that no matter how many times she stuck her head in the sick bucket to hide from the reality.

I hope the McCanns now use this validation of their position to go after others whose role in the saga of lies and libel is also great. I think particularly of some of the Twitter trolls and of the woman from Canada. After all Twitter is now supportive of the silencing of those who break the rules of free speech (and yes there are rules regarding free speech) and Canada is a very appropriate jurisdiction for legal action. Ms Taylor probably knows exactly what I mean by that statement.

But face it, if you were a Portuguese lawyer, would you want Gonzo for a client? I wouldn't, he's a walking disaster area. I will be very surprised if he has paid what he owed the court for his foolish attempt to sue Marcos Correia; he must owe round about a million euros from his legal misadventures.

Honestly - no, I don't, Lily. Paying his debts simply isn't in his nature, IMO. He'll pay as little as possible, all the time kicking the can down the road to put off the day of reckoning just a bit further. Just as he did when he kept stalling his libel trial.

If Amoral does appeal, he will need shed loads of cash.
My understanding is the payout is £125,000 to both McCanns... quarter of a million.

Court considers "fair and adequate" compensation for McCanns


Gonçalo Amaral will have to pay for damage caused by the publication of "Maddie - The Truth of the Lie".

The Civil Court of Lisbon considered "appropriate and proportionate" compensation of 500,000 euros, the former PJ inspector Gonçalo Amaral will have to pay the couple McCann, for damages caused by the publication of "Maddie - The Truth of the Lie". The 1st Civil Chamber of the Central Instance of Lisbon decided to ban Gonçalo Amaral and the War and Peace publisher to sell that book, condemning them to the collection for delivery to the authors, within 60 days after the final judgment, of copies who still remain in bookstores, retail outlets, warehouses and stores, reads the sentence that agency Lusa had access. By decision of the court, Gonçalo Amaral and the publisher shall also be prohibited to come up with new editions of the book, as well as Carvalho Movies Valentine is prevented from doing new editions of the DVD "Maddie - The Truth of the Lie". Gonçalo Amaral, War and Peace Editors and Carvalho Movies Valentine are even forbidden to assign, reward or free of charge, in any form, copyright and editing of the book and DVD. Should it be disrespected what the court now stipulated, each of the defendants is liable to pay a penalty payment of 50,000 euros for each violation of the prohibitions.

The funny thing is that during that year when he did have shed loads of money, he doesn't appear to have made any attempt to pay any of his debts. Which is probably why The Court froze his money and assets.

I expect that the money was earning Interest. But thats okay because The McCanns are going to get that.
