Re: US politics and election
Who's the tough guy? The Donald mocks Jeb at Vegas 'Fight Night' debate after Bush says he can't 'insult his way to the presidency' in clash over Muslims, terror, and whether Trump would be 'a chaos president'

Actually, it's possible that Trump CAN insult his way to the Presidency, if only because so many people are sick to death of mealy-mouthed, two-faced liars.

'Jeb doesn't really believe I'm unhinged,' he said softly. 'He said that because his campaign has failed, and nobody cares.'

See, that's an excellent insult.
I suspect Trump's come unstuck in Scotland because it's full of people who are every bit as bloody-minded and stubborn as he is. And despite ongoing attempts to civilise us by homegrown halfwit SJWs, we also have a good line in insults.

Re: US politics and election
See, these two former friends are doing a splendid job of insulting each other:
http://order-order.com/2015/12/16/trump-salmond-a-totally-irrelevant-has-been/
This morning Alex Salmond described Donald Trump as a “three time loser” and blasted his attempt to stop an offshore wind turbine from being built off his golf course in Aberdeen. Trump has hit back in spectacular fashion:
“Does anyone care what this man thinks? He’s a has-been and totally irrelevant. The fact that he doesn’t even know what’s going on in his own constituency says it all. We have a permanent clubhouse and the business is flourishing. He should go back to doing what he does best – unveiling pompous portraits of himself that pander to his already over-inflated ego.”

Although I didn't watch the debate last night, I heard plenty about it this morning. I loved Trump's rebuff with Jeb about polling numbers.

Re: US politics and election
Whatever else he is, Trump is excellent entertainment value, and he and oor Wee Eck are a well-matched pair in the insults department. Oor Eck did indeed trot off to unveil a somewhat flattering portrait of himself the day of the Westminster Syria debate....
.
Trump does have a point about windfarms and economics - but 'they'll spoil the North Sea' isn't really good grounds for objecting.
At least Oor Eck won't burst into tears or anything - he's just as rude when he gets going.

Re: US politics and election
Incidentally, just look at how many people signed this petition, which went further than anything Trump said, and came along before he er, commented on the matter:
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/107516
Stop all immigration and close the UK borders until ISIS is defeated.
453,873
Unlike the anti-Trump one, that wasn't even mentioned by the BBC or MSM.

http://news.sky.com/story/1607792/putin-trump-an-outstanding-talented-man
Vladimir Putin has described US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump as an "unquestionably talented" man.
"He is a very outstanding man, unquestionably talented," the Russian President reportedly said after his annual news conference on Thursday.
"He is the absolute leader of the presidential race," he was quoted as saying by Russian news agencies.
More follows...
I suspect Vlad appreciates the fact that The Donald isn't a sobbing, back-stabbing little girlie that is forever taking Offence. And that The Donald has a fine line in insults, and shares his contempt for Obungle.
And yes, I do think the world would be more stable under President Trump and his semi-isolationist foreign policy.

Re: US politics and election
I think it would really help relations to become respectful.
I read this article and regarding the polls, is that similar to the UK?
http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/06/24/shock-poll-51-of-american-muslims-want-sharia-25-okay-with-violence-against-americans/
Are 25% of them okay with violence against Brits?

'It's a fiddle' - Petition to ban Trump from UK signed MULTIPLE times by the same people
GOVERNMENT petitions are being abused online by activists organising 'mass signings' to trigger Government debates, throwing the recent success of a petition to ban Donald Trump from the UK in to doubt.
By ZOIE O'BRIEN
n a matter of minutes reporters from Express.co.uk were able to sign Government petitions multiple times, using the same name and postcode.
Our investigation was triggered after it was claimed leftwing activists were bragging on social media that they had signed the petition to ban Donald Trump from entering the UK as many as 50 times each.
The Trump-ban petition was signed 562,000 times, becoming the most signed Government online petition since the site’s launch in 2012.
The petition was started early this month when Trump said Muslim people should be banned from America Islamic State (ISIS), also known as Daesh, is defeated.
I wonder how many sigs were from Oldham, or Bradfordistan, and similar multi-kulti havens - the ones that are already notorious for postal vote shenanigans?

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-12-18/new-york-times-just-memory-holed-devastating-obama-admission
In his meeting with the columnists, Mr. Obama indicated that he did not see enough cable television to fully appreciate the anxiety after the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, and made clear that he plans to step up his public arguments. Republicans were telling Americans that he is not doing anything when he is doing a lot, he said.
Obama's astounding admission that was hurriedly censored.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/22/us/politics/president-obama-accuses-donald-trump-of-exploiting-working-class-fears.html?_r=1
President Obama said in a radio interview airing on Monday that Donald J. Trump, a leading contender for the Republican presidential nomination, is exploiting the resentment and anxieties of working-class men to boost his campaign. Mr. Obama also argued that some of the scorn directed at him personally stems from the fact that he is the first African-American to hold the White House.
Demographic changes and economic stresses, including “flatlining” wages and incomes, have meant that “particularly blue-collar men have had a lot of trouble in this new economy, where they are no longer getting the same bargain that they got when they were going to a factory and able to support their families on a single paycheck,” Mr. Obama said in the interview with National Public Radio.
How very dare working class men want to earn enough money to support their family, instead of being on the State plantation!
Uttering astounding arrogance from the failure that's been running the US for the last seven years.

Good God. Can you imagine the outcry from the moonbats if Obama's daughters had been depicted like that?

A demonstration at the Mall of America on Wednesday by Black Lives Matter protesters angered by the police killing of an unarmed black man in Minneapolis last month was swiftly broken up on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
After police and mall security broke up the gathering, the protesters took a light rail train to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport where they briefly shut down roadways to both terminals, an airport spokesman said.
Inside Terminal 2, security checkpoints were shut down to prevent protesters from moving into secure areas and the situation "remains fluid," the spokesman said. The airport is the second busiest in the Midwest after Chicago's O'Hare.
'This could be your city next'? That's good news - for gun salesmen. What a bunch of Soros' Useful Idiots these wasters are!
