Actually, it's possible that Trump CAN insult his way to the Presidency, if only because so many people are sick to death of mealy-mouthed, two-faced liars.

I suspect Trump's come unstuck in Scotland because it's full of people who are every bit as bloody-minded and stubborn as he is. And despite ongoing attempts to civilise us by homegrown halfwit SJWs, we also have a good line in insults.

This morning Alex Salmond described Donald Trump as a “three time loser” and blasted his attempt to stop an offshore wind turbine from being built off his golf course in Aberdeen. Trump has hit back in spectacular fashion:

“Does anyone care what this man thinks? He’s a has-been and totally irrelevant. The fact that he doesn’t even know what’s going on in his own constituency says it all. We have a permanent clubhouse and the business is flourishing. He should go back to doing what he does best – unveiling pompous portraits of himself that pander to his already over-inflated ego.”

Although I didn't watch the debate last night, I heard plenty about it this morning. I loved Trump's rebuff with Jeb about polling numbers.

Whatever else he is, Trump is excellent entertainment value, and he and oor Wee Eck are a well-matched pair in the insults department. Oor Eck did indeed trot off to unveil a somewhat flattering portrait of himself the day of the Westminster Syria debate....

Trump does have a point about windfarms and economics - but 'they'll spoil the North Sea' isn't really good grounds for objecting.

At least Oor Eck won't burst into tears or anything - he's just as rude when he gets going.

GOVERNMENT petitions are being abused online by activists organising 'mass signings' to trigger Government debates, throwing the recent success of a petition to ban Donald Trump from the UK in to doubt.

n a matter of minutes reporters from Express.co.uk were able to sign Government petitions multiple times, using the same name and postcode.

Our investigation was triggered after it was claimed leftwing activists were bragging on social media that they had signed the petition to ban Donald Trump from entering the UK as many as 50 times each.

The Trump-ban petition was signed 562,000 times, becoming the most signed Government online petition since the site’s launch in 2012.

The petition was started early this month when Trump said Muslim people should be banned from America Islamic State (ISIS), also known as Daesh, is defeated.

After police and mall security broke up the gathering, the protesters took a light rail train to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport where they briefly shut down roadways to both terminals, an airport spokesman said.

Inside Terminal 2, security checkpoints were shut down to prevent protesters from moving into secure areas and the situation "remains fluid," the spokesman said. The airport is the second busiest in the Midwest after Chicago's O'Hare.
