Re: Hungary is new hot spot on migrant route into EU - Part 2
Hungary's Orbán urges EU migration debate, sees threat to democracy
REUTERS, BUDAPEST Thu Oct 22, 2015
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán urged European leaders late on Wednesday to change their immigration policies and involve voters in a debate about the continent's future, saying they would otherwise face a political crisis and a threat to the democratic order.
Hungary has responded to the largest migration wave Europe has seen since World War Two by building a steel fence along its borders with Serbia and Croatia, a step both welcomed and criticized by various leaders around Europe.
The fence has sealed Hungary's borders but caused a growing backlog in Balkan countries which are struggling to usher them on to Germany through Slovenia, which has already asked for the European Union's help.
Hungary's ruling center-right Fidesz party has taken a hard line against the tide of immigrants fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East and Asia, most of them refugees from Syria's civil war. It has spoken of a threat to Europe's Christian and democratic way of life and demanded action from the EU, which is deeply divided on the issue.
Orbán, who was due to address the European People's Party congress in Madrid on Thursday, told the state television channel m1 that European leaders had no mandate to let hundreds of thousands of migrants enter the EU with little or no control.
"This destabilizes European democracies," he said. "We need to start the debate about the future of our continent honestly, without the muzzle of 'political correctness', without pretence, talking straight."
"We need to listen to the people and incorporate their views in our politics. If we can't do that, we'll have a political crisis on top of our migrant crisis."
He said Hungary's border fence had been meant to turn migrants back from Europe, not divert them along a different path to Germany, and that he had asked Hungary's Balkan neighbors to help send the migrants back.
"The right thing to do is not to ensure their passage into Europe but to take them back to the refugee camps they started out from," he said.
"The further they come from their troubled countries, the more difficult it will be for them to return. Therefore these people must remain (in their region) and humane conditions must be created for them (there)."

Orbán to attend extraordinary summit on migration on Sunday
By Hungary Matters
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will be attending an extraordinary summit on migration at the invitation of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker this Sunday, head of Orbán’s press office Bertalan Havasi said. Juncker has invited the leaders of countries affected by migration in the western Balkans. The EC said that the meeting aims to bring about an agreement on “operative conclusions” that can be immediately put in practice. In addition to Orbán, the prime ministers Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia have been invited.

He's absolutely right, IMO, and it's terrifying that so many 'leaders' can't - or won't - see that there is nothing but trouble ahead if this doesn't stop. And the idiots that have led 'migrants' to wrongly believe that Europe is just waiting to shower them with riches are to blame for the deaths at sea, and the increasing outbreaks of violence.

Re: Hungary is new hot spot on migrant route into EU - Part 2
This is the former prime minister who admitted on radio lying about the state of the economy to win elections a few months earlier. The broadcast sparked weeks of protests and riots that left hundreds injured. After this fiasco Gyurcsany's popularity stood at 18 percent - the lowest ever for a prime minister since Hungary's return to democracy in 1990. He was ousted by Orbán and Fidesz at the next election. LLOctober 22nd, 2015
Gyurcsány: Europe not threatened by “Islamisation”
By Hungary Matters
Former prime minister and Democratic Coalition party leader Ferenc Gyurcsány said “Islamisation” was not a threat to Europe, as the proportion of Muslims would not exceed 10% of the population, even according to “radical estimates”. The basic question behind the crisis is whether Europe can retain its character or whether it should feel threatened by Islamisation, he said. “The question is: can we stay as we are with our culture, values, customs and faith, as Christians if you like, or are we threatened by another culture,” Gyurcsány said, addressing a forum in Kecskemét, central Hungary. He said currently some 10-12 million Muslims live in 500-million-strong Europe.
“Even the most radical estimates suggest Muslims would not exceed 10% of the population of Europe by 2060.” Europe is not being “Islamified” but Muslims are being “Europeanised”, Gyurcsány said, citing data showing that only 20% of third-generation Muslims go to church and these people have fewer children, too. He insisted that third generation Muslims and Europeans were not that different. Gyurcsány said the migrant quotas “should not to be ruled out”. As an xample, he said in a city the size of Kecskemét [population 110,000] two Muslim families would be received. He noted that over the course of history, Hungary had accepted Cumans, Schwabs, Šokci people and Serbians and these were successful. He said Prime Minister Viktor Orbán may gain in the short term from the migrant crisis “by posing as the heroic protector of the nation”.

Orbán: EU migrant policies need mandate
By Hungary Matters
inShare
Comment [26]
European leaders have not been a mandate by the European people for their migrant policies, the prime minister said ahead of the European People’s Party Congress in Madrid. “Nobody has ever voted for Europe to receive migrants by the hundreds of thousands,” Viktor Orbán said, adding that the gap between Europeans and their leaders’ policies and opinions could destabilise European democracies.
Orbán called instead for “honest and open debate free of political correctness” on the future of Europe. On the subject of Sunday’s EU summit called together by Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, Orbán said Slovenia had asked for a summit to be convened because it is unable to cope with the crisis alone. “It was difficult for Hungary when it was on its own, too. But now the Visegrád countries [the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia] are behind us, and this provides Hungary with a strong political hinterland.” Central European cooperation could help Slovenia, too, he added. Addressing the issue of the recently-completed fence on Hungary’s border with Croatia, Orbán said Hungary’s position was clear: to put a check on the uncontrolled flow of migrants into Europe, in order to protect the continent.

Really? And how many children do muslim women have, as opposed to how many European women have? If he can't even work that out, see the Hell on earth he is creating for future generations, then he deserves to be 'martyred' by one of his pet migrants.

Ever since Orbán and his party ousted him, Gyurcsány has dropped down and down in the polls and he now comes out with all sorts of drivel in the vain hope the tide will turn in his favour. Even the far right Jobbik party is higher up in the polls than him and his party. LLbb1 wrote:

Re: Hungary is new hot spot on migrant route into EU - Part 2
I have no patience with politicians like him, throwing away their own children's future, LL. They don't even seem to grasp that it is the islamic belief system that is the problem.
After all, if some natural disaster occurred, and hundreds of thousands of Sikhs, or Buddhists, or Hindus, or Taoists, needed resettled, it would be a logistical problem, not an existential threat to Western democracy.
If they cannot see that importing a belief system which, in all but its mildest forms, is just as bad as fascism, is storing up trouble for the future, then they shouldn't be in office.

Re: Hungary is new hot spot on migrant route into EU - Part 2
Slovenia's prime minister, Miro Cerar, says the influx of tens of thousands of migrants is putting too much strain on his country and others in Europe.
He called Friday for common EU action and effective protection of the EU's external borders, saying that "if these big waves of migrants just continue to come to Slovenia, it will be impossible to carry this on."
It's not just Slovenia:
http://www.infowars.com/sweden-needs-to-borrow-more-cut-costs-to-meet-refugee-numbers-finance-minister/
Sweden will need to borrow more money and cut costs across the board to meet the expense of record numbers of asylum seekers arriving in the country, Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson said on Thursday.
“It is going to take longer for us to get back to balanced public finances,” Andersson told reporters. “It also going to mean that we are going to need to borrow money.”
Earlier in the day, the Migration Agency said it expected up to 190,000 asylum seekers to arrive in Sweden this year.
Well done, Sweden. You've destroyed a near-perfect social democracy by importing a totally alien, intolerant culture that:
1. Expects Swedes to keep it in comfort without doing any work.
2. Hates you, your women, your democracy, just about everything about you, in fact.
Sweden looks set to be the first nation to commit suicide by pathological altruism.

Re: Hungary is new hot spot on migrant route into EU - Part 2
Muslim men in some British communities are 'having up to 20 children each' because Sharia law allows them to have many wives
Cross-bench peer Baroness Cox spoke at the House of Lords yesterday
Told of how Muslim men in some communities are having up to 20 kids
These children may subsequently be 'vulnerable to extremism', she said
Men are 'divorcing wives by simply writing '"I divorce you" three times'
Baroness Cox said a loophole in the Equality Act was allowing Sharia courts to discriminate against women - and said change was needed
What was that about there being no danger of Europeans becoming a minority in their own countries?

'Arson attack' destroys planned refugee home in Sweden
9474
Saturday 24 October 2015 12.37
A planned refugee home in Sweden was torched in a suspected arson attack, police said today, the latest incident apparently targeting new arrivals in Europe's migrant crisis.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in Eskilstuna, 90 kilometres west of Stockholm, around 12 midnight Irish time yesterday evening, however the building was almost totally destroyed.
Police have launched an arson inquiry into the attack on the building, a former holiday camp, which had been set to house around 60 people seeking asylum in Sweden.
The incident adds to around a dozen similar attacks since the start of the year and came a day after a man armed with a sword killed two people in a racist attack at a Swedish school with many immigrant pupils.
"If it's because of the fact that some people think this type of lodging should not exist - then that's really terrible," local official Tryggve Lundh said of the migrant hostel fire on SR public radio.
Sweden, a country of 9.8 million, expects to receive up to 190,000 asylum applications this year - putting it among the EU states with the highest proportion of refugees per capita as the continent struggles with a massive influx of migrants.
Support for the far-right has grown as Sweden's ability to house and integrate the new arrivals comes under strain.
Anti-immigration attitudes have been rising across Europe, as more than 600,000 migrants and refugees -- most fleeing violence in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan -- have made the dangerous journey to the continent this year, according to the UN
Sorry, but as soon as they leave the safety of the refugee camps, and pay the Turkish mafia thousands of euros to enter Europe illegally, they are no longer refugees, they are economic migrants.
Just for once, Cameron is handling this properly, and taking the most vulnerable directly from the camps, in numbers which can be coped with without causing chaos.

Balkan trio threatens to erect migrant fence if Germany closes border
Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania have threatened to erect border fences to stem refugee flows if other EU countries close their borders. Leaders have called for a common European response to the crisis.
The leaders of Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia huddled together on Saturday in Sofia to develop a common position on the migrant crisis that has upended the Balkan region, ahead of a mini-EU summit on Sunday.
"The three countries, we are standing ready, if Germany and Austria close their borders, not to allow our countries to become buffer zones. We will be ready to close borders," Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said after meeting with his Serbian and Romanian counterparts.
The Balkan leaders agreed to push for a comprehensive European plan at Sunday's summit in Brussels aimed at finding a common cross-border policy to handle nearly 700,000 migrants who have tried to reach Europe so far this year.
Speaking after the meeting, Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta said the Balkan states were prepared to undertake their obligations and stand in solidarity with Europe.
"But the responsibility cannot be put with just some countries," Ponta said. "If there are countries which close their borders, or build fences, then we have the right to defend ourselves in a timely manner."...more at link.

One woman described how Muslim men repeatedly cut in front of her at the supermarket checkout line. "Twice while shopping at a German supermarket I was shown that I am a second-class citizen," she wrote. In one instance, an adult Muslim male with a full shopping cart cut in front of her. In broken German he said: "I man. You woman. I go first." In another instance, a young Muslim male elbowed the woman while cutting in front of her. "When I said that I would let him go ahead of me if he asked me for permission, I was instructed by his sister that boys do not need to ask, they just demand."
A teacher at a vocational school wrote: "The most problematic students are Muslim males, who do not acknowledge the authority of female teachers and who disrupt the classes."
A mother reported that during a visit to her daughter's school, she approached a fully-veiled female refugee and asked her if she could be of help to her. "A man with a fancy suit and a three-day beard, he seemed like out of a Hugo Boss fashion magazine, said: 'My wife does not speak the language of the unclean.' When I asked him who here was unclean, he said I was. I asked him what that means. He said it was nothing against me personally, because all German women are unclean, and that his wife should not speak the language of the unclean, so that she can remain clean."
But what else did they expect to happen?

European nations leaders are holding an emergency summit in #Brussels, tonight, to stop the free flow of #refugees.
If our leaders don't want to see civil war in Europe, then they had better do something PDQ to stop this invasion. And the moonbats, lefties and bien pensants that have helped cause it, with their trite utterances and stupid hashtags, should hang their heads in shame.
