Hiba Kanalani, a migrant from Damascus, pressed a blanket tight around her head and body, her teeth chattering from the cold while she stood in a row of asylum-seekers waiting to cross from Serbia into Croatia.

Kanalani arrived at the crossing hours earlier Tuesday with her two sons aged 4 and 7, unprepared for the weather.

Frustrated by the delay, she said: "What is this? Where is the army? Where is police? Where are buses? We will die here."

Kanalani started the journey toward Western Europe on Oct. 8 in Turkey, hoping to reach Sweden where she has relatives. The 39-year-old woman says her husband has been working in Saudi Arabia for the past seven years, but she didn't want to join him there because of the restrictions imposed on women.

Kanalani says, "You cannot drive, you cannot do anything. You have to cover face and body. I cannot live there."

FFS! Yet she thinks she is entitled to march into Europe and demand that small, struggling nations provide her with transport?

It's nice and warm in Saudi, I suggest she and her children go and join her working husband there. And see what happens when she demands the Saudis provide her with transport.

Slovenia accuses Croatia of lack of control on migrant surge

BREZICE, Slovenia (AP) — Slovenia accused Croatia on Tuesday of sending thousands of migrants toward its borders "without control," ignoring requests to contain the surge.

While Slovenia has said it can handle only 2,500 migrants a day, Slovenia's police said that some 8,300 migrants seeking to head toward Western Europe were currently in reception centers in the small country, with thousands more arriving.

Police in riot gear surrounded hundreds of migrants in a muddy field near the border village of Rigonce, from where they were to be escorted on foot to an already overcrowded reception center some 15 kilometers (9 miles) away.

"The pressure of immigrants arriving from Croatia is intensifying," the Slovenian government said in a statement. "They send immigrants toward Slovenia without control, deliberately dispersed." Croatia did not seem ready to slow the flow. On Tuesday morning, a train carrying more than 1,000 migrants from the town of Tovarnik and some 20 buses full of migrants from the Opatovac refugee camp were headed toward the Slovenian border.

Slovenia's parliament is expected to decide later Tuesday on a government proposal to allow the army to assist police with border control. Slovenian authorities say 6,000 migrants arrived on Monday and at least 4,000 more, including many babies and young children, had entered the country early Tuesday.

Slovenia has been confronted by the surge since Hungary closed its border with Croatia to the free flow of migrants on Saturday, forcing migrants to find new routes to Austria, Germany and other favored destinations in the European Union.

Not a single migrant has entered Hungary from Croatia since the border was closed with a fence protected by razor wire, soldiers and police patrols.

Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe, situated in the Carpathian Basin and is bordered by Slovakia to the north, Romania to the east, Serbia to the south, Croatia to the southwest, Slovenia to the west, Austria to the northwest, and Ukraine to the northeast. Even Sweden has its limits.

A self-proclaimed "humanitarian superpower" where welcoming those fleeing war and oppression is ingrained as part of the national identity, the Nordic country has proudly taken in more refugees per capita than any other in Europe.

But now, with military barracks, ski lodges and camping huts already filling up, it is running of roofs to put over the heads of immigrants. The government is warning that tens of thousands of people may end up spending the Nordic winter in tents.

And for the first time, there have been signs in recent weeks that the national consensus behind the open-door policy is crumbling. Far-right protesters have shouted "go home" at asylum seekers. Refugee housing has been hit by arson attacks. And even in the political mainstream there is a growing feeling that its generous policies are unsustainable.

Berlin is looking at the use of military transport vehicles to send refugees back to their countries of origin. The government has been mulling ways to speed up the deporation process.

The German government is willing to use army vehicles to ship refugees back to their homelands, German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen said on Wednesday.
The story broke earlier the same day, when German newspaper Bild reported the government was looking into the use of Bundeswehr aircraft as one way in which federal and state governments could deport asylum seekers whose applications had been rejected.
"Obviously, the usage of the Transall (Army transport aircraft) is not ruled out," von der Leyen confirmed. "But only in the event that all civilian transport capacities are exhausted and if it does not affect the German army's priority missions."
Struggling to cope
The news comes as Berlin searches for ways to speed up the deportation process in an effort to ease the burden on local governments struggling to cope with Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II. The country says it's expecting more than 800,000 refugees this year.
According to the article in Bild, the number of asylum requests in Germany is currently far greater than the number of deportations.
While many of the refugees arriving in Germany are fleeing war in the Middle East, as many as a third are considered economic migrants and are likely to be deported.

Looks like Merkel's 'Welcomekultur' is, predictably, being replaced by the traditional rough men with weapons.

A soccer match in Slovenia this weekend has been thrown into doubt because the small nation's police force has been stretched to the limit with Europe's migrant crisis.

Organizers of Saturday's match between top rivals Maribor and Olimija have been told to find another way of providing security for the game in the capital, Ljubljana.

Matches between the two teams are considered high-risk events normally guarded by dozens of riot police to prevent clashes between rival fans.

Slovenian media said Wednesday it's unlikely that host team Olimija will be able to solve the problem in such a short period of time.

Croatia's foreign minister is encouraged that several EU and Balkan leaders in Brussels will hold a special migrant summit this weekend.

Minister Vesna Pusic said Wednesday "up until now we didn't have anything, we haven't worked together at all." Pusic says "we hope we will come up with some kind of an agreement on coordinating the handling of these people."

A massive influx of migrants has increased tensions in the Balkans, which saw years of war in 1990s. Tense Balkan neighbors have been accusing each other of mishandling the flow of hundreds of thousands of people through the region toward Western Europe.

Pusic says "all countries have the same problem. Rather than quarreling, it's more important that we coordinate our actions."

Slovenia has asked Austria to open a second entry point for refugees in order to disperse the flow of people through the small Alpine nation.

Interior Ministry official Bostjan Sefic said Wednesday the issue is under discussion at a regional meeting in Vienna, the Austrian capital. Earlier Wednesday some 1,000 asylum-seekers, tired of waiting to cross, rushed into Austria from Slovenia.

Sefic says Slovenian police have been overstretched since the migrants started crossing in Saturday after Hungary closed its border with Croatia. Slovenia has cleared the way for the army to take over some police duties at the border.

Sefic says about 8,000 migrants entered on Tuesday. Tiny Slovenia initially said it would take no more than 2,500 a day.

One person has been killed and four wounded in a sword attack at a school in western Sweden, authorities say.

According to the news agency AP, one teacher has been confirmed dead following the attack at the Kronan school in Trollhattan, north of Sweden’s second-largest city Gothenburg.

The masked suspect is also said to be in a serious condition after he was shot by police. ...more at link.

The attacker is widely suspected to be an adherent of the Religion of Peace, though there is no confirmation yet.

Firefighters in southern Sweden have doused the flames at yet another temporary facility for refugees and migrants. The fifth in a series of suspected arson attacks in the last two weeks comes despite tight security and secrecy over their locations.
Teams from three fire stations have been deployed to extinguish the blaze at a former retirement home in Oderljunga, being prepared to become a temporary asylum for refugees, The Local reports. The fire alarm at the facility went off at about 2:40 a.m. local time, regional newspaper Sydsvenskan reported.

The firefighters were able to put out fire almost immediately and save the building, which suffered only slight damage from the water that was poured on it and the smell of smoke that saturated the installation.

There were no asylum seekers inside and no one was hurt in the incident, but several firemen told Swedish broadcaster SVT they were positive the fire at the former retirement home was a deliberate attack, linking the fire to a string of suspected arson attacks targeting refugee installations throughout Sweden in the last two weeks.

“Based on what has happened so far in the country and given that the window is broken, it is easy to suspect that it was planned. But it is a police matter to investigate the course of the fire,” SVT cited Daniel Sirensjö, the region’s fire and rescue service control room operator, as saying.

Police confirmed the case is being investigated as a possible arson attack.

I wish those that insist on shoving multi-kulti down everyone's throat would grasp that the only people they are really helping are Soros and other NWO/globalists, Lily.

Sweden is collapsing; European social democracies only work with people that know the rules and abide by them. People in social democracies work and pay taxes in the expectation that, in time of need, the favour will be returned by the State, and capitalism backs it all up.

But social democracy CANNOT work when a vast Free Sh*t Army, from different cultures, with no intention of working and contributing, is imported.

So who benefits from the collapse of social order in Europe? The same people that profit from chaos elsewhere in the world.

An Eritrean man facing deportation has admitted to the double stabbing murder of a mother and son at an Ikea store in Sweden this week, his lawyer said.

"The man has admitted to the two murders," the TT news agency quoted lawyer Per-Ingvar Ekblad as saying.

Swedish media have reported the 36-year-old man had been issued with a deportation order to send him to Italy.

Media reports said the unnamed suspect had met with immigration officials to discuss his case just a day before the attack in the central town of Vasteras.

Footage of the attack shows the man grabbing knives from the kitchenware section and then stabbing two shoppers, a 55-year-old woman and her 28-year-old son, according to the Swedish daily Aftonbladet.

The suspect then stabbed himself in the stomach before being evacuated to the hospital, where he was briefly in a coma.

A second suspect, a 23-year-old Eritrean, was found waiting outside at a bus stop by the furniture store in Vasteras.

Sweden is home to an Eritrean community of about 18,000 immigrants who fled an authoritarian regime and poverty in their home country.

After Syrians, Eritreans are the largest group of asylum seekers in the Nordic country, with more than 4,200 applying for asylum in 2015.

The number of asylum seekers in Sweden is expected to rise significantly in the coming years.
