Among all the revolting politicians the US has had, TrustTed must be about the worst of the lot. He's like Nixon without the wit, charm, good looks and honesty.
I can't look at him, and it's beyond me how any woman could marry the sleazeball to begin with, let alone have an affair with him.

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/04/04/poll-trump-takes-10-point-lead-cruz-wisconsins-home-stretch/
Billionaire businessman Donald Trump has taken a 10-point lead over Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97%
in Wisconsin in the final hours before the critical primary on Tuesday, a new poll released on Monday afternoon shows.
The bombshell new polling data, from American Research Group (ARG), show Trump’s 42 percent towering over Cruz’s 32 percent in the Badger State. Ohio Gov. John Kasich, for whom it is already mathematically impossible to win the nomination outright before the GOP convention in Cleveland in July, lurks back at 23 percent.
The Wisconsin polls are all over the place, so who knows?

Re: US elections - Round Two
http://news.sky.com/story/1673444/cruz-and-sanders-defeat-rivals-in-wisconsin
Texas Senator Ted Cruz has won the Wisconsin Republican primary, further hampering front runner Donald Trump's bid for the nomination.
On the Democratic side, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders defeated Hillary Clinton to take his sixth victory out of the last seven contests.
Both Mr Sanders and Mr Cruz still have ground to make up to overtake their rivals in the delegate counts before the party conventions in late July.
The win guarantees Mr Cruz at least 18 delegates. Another 24 will be handed out based on final results from Wisconsin's eight voting districts.
Some 86 delegates were in play for the Democrats, but even with Mr Sanders projected to take the majority he still trails Mrs Clinton by more than 600, including the party's superdelegates.
On the Republican side, Mr Cruz headed into Tuesday's contest with 475 delegates to Mr Trump's 737.
Mr Cruz called his victory in the Badger State a "turning point" in the election.
Yes, it's likely to be Boogerman's last stand, as this is the last of the God-bothering states. It now moves on to somewhat more normal states.
And to the YUUUUUUGE prize of New York. Yes, the New York Boogerman insulted not long ago, leading to headlines like:
I do wish the UK media would stop acting as if the complicated US system is the same as our by-elections.

Re: US elections - Round Two
Idiot UK media that seem to think these are like by-elections would do well to read this:
http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/04/06/wisconsin-post-election-night-debrief/
First, The Math:
Going into last night the Delegate race was:
Donald Trump 752 delegates
Ted Cruz 469 delegates
Trump ahead by 283 delegates
Last night Team Cruz won 36 and Team Trump won 6. So, after last night:
Donald Trump 758 delegates
Ted Cruz 505 delegates
Trump ahead by 253 delegates
There are 769 Delegates remaining in the upcoming primary states. In order to get to the magic number of 1237:
Donald Trump needs 479 to clinch. (758 current + 479 need = 1237 goal)
Ted Cruz needs 732 to clinch. (505 current + 732 need = 1237 goal).
There are only 769 Delegates remaining.
The Next Contest is New York on Tuesday April 19th with a whopping 95 delegates (winner take all if single candidate 50% +1 vote).
If Donald Trump can win New York (all CD’s) with 50% of the vote, it will mean:
♦ A) Trump will lead with 853 delegates (only needing 384 of the remaining 674)
-and-
♦ B) Ted Cruz will be mathematically knocked out of the race to 1,237. Cruz would still need 732 and there are only 674 remaining after New York.
So you can see how New York is infinitely more important than Wisconsin was.....etc.
Cruz CANNOT win the nomination fair and square, and the states now coming up are not inclined towards religious lunatics/hypocrites like Cruz.
Also, the internet is on standby for another Bimbo Eruption in the Cruz household.

Re: US elections - Round Two
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/scotus-denies-request-dc-madam-s-attorney-release-info-n551121
The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday denied a request from a lawyer who once represented a woman known as the "DC Madam" to release records from her famous escort service.
Those records include such sensitive information as customer names, Social Security numbers and addresses— information the lawyer, Montgomery Blair Sibley, has said could affect the 2016 presidential election. The so-called DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey ran a high-priced escort service in the Washington D.C.-area for a number of years before her eventual conviction. She died in 2008.
Related: Years Later, the 'D.C. Madam' Scandal is Relevant Once More
Sibley wanted the Supreme Court to lift a lower court order, in place since 2007, that bars him from releasing any information about her records.
"Time is of the essence," Sibley wrote in his latest Supreme Court filing. "Given the significance of the upcoming political primaries and caucuses, in the looming Republican and Democratic conventions on July 18th and July 25th respectively, and given the impact of the presently sealed from the public record that this attorney seeks to release, upon those electoral deliberations, expedited resolution to this application is incumbent upon this court."
His application was directed to Chief Justice John Roberts, the justice assigned to emergency appeals from the Washington, D.C. area. Roberts denied it without seeking a response from any other party, a sign of how little merit Roberts found in the application.
The only names unlikely to be in the records are Trump and Sanders. And it's worth remembering that the deceased Madame died in very suspicious circumstances.

A fishmonger in Iowa was threatened with legal action by Ted Cruz’ campaign after it compared the Texas Senator to a blobfish.
Great Midwest Seafood of Davenport used the senator’s name on a price label in its fresh fish display. The store is regularly used as a backdrop by politicians campaigning for the Iowa caucus, the first date in the primary calendar.
But staffers for the Cruz campaign took exception and sent a cease and desist letter to the fishmonger.
“I still think it looks like him” said one customer.

http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/study-average-american-can-stand-four-seconds-of-ted-cruz
MINNEAPOLIS (The Borowitz Report)—In a potential stumbling block for his Presidential ambitions, a new study indicates that the average American can stand only four seconds of exposure to Senator Ted Cruz, the Texas Republican.
The study, conducted by University of Minnesota researchers during Tuesday night’s Republican debate, required subjects to be connected to electrodes to measure their tolerance for the senator.
Within four seconds of watching Cruz, the majority of participants begged to be released from the experiment, researchers reported.
In a more encouraging finding for the senator, when the same research subjects were exposed to Cruz with his voice muted, they could tolerate him for up to six seconds, the data showed.
According to the University of Minnesota’s Davis Logsdon, who supervised the study, the results portend “significant challenges ahead” for Cruz’s campaign. “It’s hard to get your message out if, four seconds in, people just start screaming uncontrollably, as many of our participants did last night,” he said.
A campaign spokesman for Cruz, however, was unfazed by the research. “A study conducted last summer showed that people could only stand Ted for three seconds, so we’re trending in the right direction,” the spokesman said.

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/rudy-giuliani-says-he-s-voting-donald-trump-n552506
Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani says he's voting for Donald Trump when New York holds its Republican primary contest later this month.
"I support Trump. I'm gonna vote for Trump," Giuliani told the New York Post.
Giuliani, who ran for president unsuccessfully in 2008, had spoken favorably of Trump's candidacy earlier in the cycle, and the Washington Post reported in February that the former mayor has been informally advising the GOP frontrunner.
"It's an honor to have Rudy Giuliani supporting Mr. Trump in his campaign," campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said.
"Trump is a negotiator. He negotiates from a high bar to get people's attention. Threatening to withdraw from NATO will get a better deal with NATO," Giuliani said in the interview announcing his intention to support the real estate mogul.
That's worth a LOT. Giuliani for Veep?

Former President Bill Clinton slammed a Black Lives Matter protest against Hillary Clinton’s candidacy, and said the group defends gang leaders who get kids “hopped up on crack.”
“I don’t know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-old kids hopped up on crack and sent them out into the street to murder other African American children—maybe you thought they were good citizens,” Clinton said.
“She [Hillary] didn’t. She didn’t. You are defending the people who kill the lives you say matter. Tell the truth.”
That's not going to go down well, despite it being pretty much true.
